Hi everyone, I’m still trying to figure out the mechanics of image hosting and online posting, and all that Jazz.

I have a bunch of Teens that are already hardened off and ready to go outside for the season, but I’m still waiting on half of them to show sex.

I’ll add some more updates, grow pics, and info, as I continue to figure things out.

Imgur and Google photos links haven’t been working. I was told I can upload photos straight to the site. So let’s give that a try

Wow!! Looks like that worked!! Awesome!
A little more info about this year’s grow:

9 pots
9 holes

as of yet, all genetics started from seed, in-house.
Soil/Medium:
Bottoms of holes layered with “ZooDoo” composted wildlife manure (primarily elephant) from Wildife Safari in Winston, OR.
Then Holes were filled with Cambrian Supergrow Blend from Lane Forest Products in Eugene, OR.
I have been feeding them with Alaska Brand Kelp Meal & Fish Emulsion, supplemented with SuperThrive and MicrobeLife Photosynthesis Plus.
I have also been brewing LABs and Bokashi every week and giving them soil and foliar applications.

I’m really excited about the seedstock that I was given. Some are strains that I have been searching for, for over half my life. A few are new to me.

I’m going to start my first breeding project. I see a lot of knowledgeable and talented growers on this forum, and I value and appreciate your experience and input.

I have identified and isolated (4) males. 1 male is a Molokai Frost (I am hoping to use this male for a separate breeding project)... The other 3 males are Tangie x The Gift. I will be keeping the most desirable male for breeding, and culling the other 2.
All males are in a separate grow tent, and 12/12 lighting, as of yesterday (5/13/2020)

We made a little bit of progress today. Sexed a few more plants, planted the clones, and got the trellis nets up for 5 of the girls that are in-ground.
Been reading some of the threads on breeding, and realizing how much of a learning curve I have. Looks like Texas Kid is still active, I sure hope Sativied and Chimera are too. I would love to pick their brains.

Almost forgot my Sky Lotus (Skywalker x Snow Lotus). I was so stoked yesterday when I realized it was a female. I’ve been wanting to grow out some Bodhi genetics for years

I'd be interested in finding some of those Tennessee Kush seeds? Know who sells them?
These are from Cannaventure Seeds. I got them as a Freebie (part of a large order from Attitude Seeds). I did some consulting work a couple years ago, and got to keep the freebies as compensation...

It’s been raining infrequently, so work in the garden has been slow-going. Caught a break in the weather today, and got the chance to put up the rest of the trellis netting.
more than a few of the girls are starting to turn a lighter shade of green, so we are going to kick up the feeding regimen. (Really wasn’t giving them that much in the first month, and I’m not worried about them being burned by Alaska Fish Emulsion or Kelp Meal.)

gave them a foliar feeding tonight/Kelp Meal, Microbe Life Photosynthesis Plus, SuperThrive, and NFTG Bloom Khaos (pH @ 6.0)

In the last pic, you’ll notice the empty folding chairs out there and the trellis net at approximately two different levels. I really can’t stand up for longer than 20 minutes at a time, anymore and more often I end up having to just plop myself down on the ground, and scoot along on my butt from plant to plant. The height of the trellis net is lower on the plants that are directly in the ground, so I can reach them while seated, and still be able to train without putting too much strain on my back. Some of the other plants are planted a bit higher in the holes and on more of a mound, so the height of those trellis nets are placed so that they can be reAched from the folding chairs.

Hi everyone, I haven’t been able to get out in the back yard to take pics this past week- I don’t know what’s wrong with my leg, but I have a Charlie Horse that has lasted me 5days.
I thought it was Hilarious when everyone started suggesting that I take Cal-Mag supplements.
That’s like the #1 piece of advice they give for ANY plant problem on those FB grow groups, 🤣🤣🤣.

anywho, I’m so excited that a couple of the “males” I had segregated in a separate tent, were actually lay showing females.
So add a Tangie x The Gift (in pot) and a Molokai Frost (in ground) to the lineup.
The more the merrier, right?

going to try my hand at brewing a tea from scratch today. I see a few vendors using these same ingredients, and we have these things readily available at home, so I figured, why the hell not?

today’s brew: Aloe, Yucca, Molasses, and Compost.

Sorry you go through that. My discs have begun to fail this year. I spent months inable to put weight on my right leg from psiatica. Doing better now but crawled around the growrooms literally all winter. Ouch!

Thanks. I’ve battled Muscular Dystrophy my whole life, but it’s really started to get worse here in my late 30’s. I’ve never had one of my legs bother me for this long before. Sorry to hear about your psiatica.
I ended up picking up some supplements from the local health food store.

I’m walking a little bit better today, so I was able to get out back to check on the girls and do a little bit of training. Most of them are doing pretty well, although I’d say that some of them are still looking a bit hungry.

we ran out of tomato cages, still waiting to get my truck out of the shop, to do more errands.
Other observations:

the Afghan Landrace is exhibiting some asymmetrical growth. I’ve been so tempted to dig it out and replace it with something else, before it gets fully established, but now I’m kinda curious as to what kind of cannabinoid profile it’s going to put out.

The Cheeselicious is responding really well to the trellis. After the first time I topped it, growth was almost exclusively lateral.

I also included a pic of our pear tree, cuz it looks so damn cool

*the composted material in the tumblers wasn’t quite finished yet, so the brewing tea is just some fresh cut pieces of Aloe and Yucca, with a bit of Molasses
