Manure and coco mix too hot?

I'm wondering if I mix coco with just bagged store bought composted manure would be good or if it's not a good idea? I wonder if it will be too hot?

Should be fine if you don't mix the manure compost in too heavy. If you can get ahold of this at your local supplier, it's good stuff. Have to treat it like soil, not like straight coco.

Compost (or composted manure) should never be hot. Most of the nitrogen is used up in the composting process. Raw or poorly composted manure is the one to be careful with, both in terms of 'hotness' and potential human pathogens.
