I am starting a movement everyone! A march against the federal ban of cannabis. Come check the event out and stand behind me while we stand together and show the federal government we will not stand for this.

I don't do Facebook but I stand by this effort. I may not be able to make the trip... however, I've been involved with grassroots lobbying efforts in my professional life. Let me know how I can help, especially if you're putting together a campaign. You can DM me through the site. Happy to go through developing a checklist and time line with you.

Still..... doesn't it still come to a states decision. Federal or not.
It’s supposed to . That’s why the states and the federal government are having a “secret” meeting to discuss it. I am doing what I can and trying to get everyone to join together for the same movement ! I know there are others doing similar things but got called me to do this so I’m doing it!

Could you please post more details about this ban you are talking about rather than a link to that fucker zucker’s spy site?

Feds want to ban drinks with THC above 4%. Edibles, 70% , flower 35%. Everything has to be sold thru dispensary's, no gas station, grocery stores, ect.
28 billion $ industry, over 30,000 jobs will be lost.

Their loosing $ for tickets, and free labor thru incarcerations, and a hard lean from lobbyists for the alcohol companies.

Just follow the $, is my take on it all.

Their already using the same line we always hear....for the safety of the children....shit, never stopped me as a kid.

In short...they want to renig on what we voted for, thru amendments.

That’s a link to my event.
The biggest problem with social media is it actually limits outreach. I can’t see it because I am not on bookface. You want to share it but they don’t share it with anyone outside of bookface.

from my understanding the video posted by Florida Mike with the lawyer it’s on the loophole laws for the those products.

If we can put the farm bill aside for a moment, the biggest obstacle has been and remains the government's decision to classify cannabis as a Schedule 1 drug. Because of the number of states that have legalized cannabis, it's time our lawmakers recognize the federal government needs to take a step back and distance itself from a prohibitive agenda, because just like abortion, we are not all on the same page from state to state on the issue.

That is a difficult metric to quantify. Maybe if you have attendance number goals, or reach goals, ie the number of legislators your group meets with and talks with? The ultimate success would be the repeal and recall of Federal prohibition. Or success could be a bill being introduced by a sympathetic lawmaker.

I presume the goal is to move the needle closer toward legalization, so maybe you can identify key indicators to follow up post-event and measure to determine whether or not it was a mission accomplished.

Also, you're a little behind the 8-ball right now. For an event like this, you should really have everything laid out and promoted at least 6 months out since it involves travel. But that's not a rule, just a best practice.

You mention "true awareness," and this got me to thinking a good target to engage would be cannabis related 501c3 organizations. These orgs cannot engage in lobbying activities... they cannot influence lawmakers, but they CAN educate lawmakers.

Just passing on some thoughts and ideas.

They don't have their website updated with new information yet, but the National Cannabis Festival is taking place April 18-19 at RFK Stadium in DC. If you're looking for somebody to collaborate with, I would start there because I can only imagine they're expecting over 10k people if they're holding it at a stadium.
