Well, I saw this on the Mars-Hydro website this morning. When I searched the site carefully, I found what appears to be the same FC8000 at 2 price points. The only difference I can find between the two are the price and one says "OLD VERSION" at the end. Anyway, smokin price for an 800w light @ $580.99 here:https://www.mars-hydro.com/all-products/fc-8000-samsung-lm301b-led-grow-light-b unless you want to pay full price, here: https://www.mars-hydro.com/all-products/fc-8000-samsung-lm301b-co2-commercial-led-grow-light

THey also have the FC4800 on sale for $391.99, here: https://www.mars-hydro.com/all-products/fc-4800-samsung-lm301b-led-grow-light-b

Looks to me like they are getting ready to roll out their "smart" line of lamps, here: https://www.mars-hydro.com/all-prod...6500-bridgelux-730w-commercial-led-grow-light

Happy shoping.

Well, as Paul Harvey used to say after the commercial break, "and now for the rest of the story." I own a Spider Farmer SF2000 and SF4000 'original' models. To say anything about 'even' PPFD maps on those lights would truly be a stretch. That said, they are quality 2.5 year old lights. I've had far better results with them than I had back in the day with HID's. So I'm ready to upgrade and after doing some serious shopping and reviewing current light models, a few seemed to come to the top over and over. Spider Farmer topped that list with Mars Hydro and Migro coming in close behind. I started by watching Shane's(?) "Best value grow light for a 4x4..." video.
. THere he rates the SF4000 (updated) right below the FC4800 and both in the top 10. Then he rates both the SE7000 and the FC8000 over his Migro Aray 8 Pro. So I was feeling pretty good about MH, especially after watching Dr.CC's PPAR map and recomendation, here:
. Seriously less up front cost, but seriuosly after use cost if it burns the house down!!! So, to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, SHMG, I pulled the trigger on one of the E6500 last Friday. That's why I was on the site this morning. Now, after hearing their recording and having experianced for myself their not answering their "Need Help / Quick Contacts" phone number, I'm having serious second thoughts. That Migro Aray 8 is within my budget. Sorry Spider Farmer, but you don't currently offer an "e" model in the 500-700ish watt range and under $600 and your SE7000 just isn't within my budget right now.
Enjoy the "You've reached the no bots zone, please leave your message after the tone" video. I think I may be in trouble.....

Fce 6500 , works very well imho. Could be a bit stronger around the edges, but gets the job done.
China is china there all in the same pile.
