Want to get in to led seen mars hydro ts1000 want to know if anyone running one and how they perform can't find much on them I currently run hps
Thanks for the shout out! I'm a new grower, BUT, I believe that helps, as I don't know good from bad when it comes to company reputation. What I do know is that I'm running a Mars Hydro TS1000 Next to a vivosun blurple light and the growth rate for the Mars Hydro is day and night better than the vivosun! Are there better lights out there? I'm sure there are, but for the price point and performance, I'll go with Mars Hydro every time!! I'm in no way a paid spokesman, nor am I at this time sponsored or affiliated with this company. I'm just a person who believes in value for the money. You can go cheaper, but when you do that, you assuredly run the risk of having to get something else when brand X,Y, or Z craps out on you. If @MarsHydroLED wants to shoot me a TSL2000, I'll gladly clear everything out of my 4x2x60" tent and show you what a difference a QUALITY PRODUCT will make when growing! Cheers to all, and enjoy your weekend!!Also, you can check with @DankVader75 , the folk I know who run with mars hydro TS1000 here
First off, you might wanna come to ME and get your facts straight before you go running your mouth about me and what I know, or "got free" as you stated... I'm not living off my buddies handouts like you have. I BOUGHT Everything I'm growing with. You wanna talk about it, pm me... I've got nothing but time, but I'm not gonna address anything else publicly.Mars is what new growers buy when they have no idea what to buy. They have a history of false advertising and sub par quality. I would never buy one after using the freebies my friends passed on over the years. Of course @DankVader75 is going to go Mars every time, it was free. Further He uses a burple as comparison, which is arguably the worst led lights you can grow with (old tech, poor spectrum, poor internals and components). Please don’t take this the wrong way @DankVader75 as I’m sure you are happy with your new light, I just have used them and hate them and hate seeing new growers get caught up in the garbage. I could care less what light some one else uses, they should just know @MarsHydroLED has a poor history, has a history of poorly made led lighting products, and has been purposely misleading growers for years with their false statements and claims. Maybe they have improved, but I’ll be sure to share my thoughts every time I see some one ask about their product.
You can’t fix that with freebies @MarsHydroLED
and @MarsHydroLED posting pictures from supposed customers with massive colas from a grow only last big 4 months , no source data and not from this site, just adds gas to the fire
im so disappointed that thcfarmerlet’s you run rampant on this forum. I can’t go a day with out seeing you trying to sell your garbage on multiple posts. I get your a sponsor, but I don’t need to see you trying to trick newbies into buying your junk on every other post.
Also, if you're so sure of what you've got, since apparently you and your friends have so much money, same applies to you...send me something worth showcasing, and I'll do so... I was talking to people BUDGET MINDED... people on fixed income that can't afford the "big names".Mars is what new growers buy when they have no idea what to buy. I truly applaud your workmanship. Not everyone, however is technically savvy enough (such as myself with a traumatic brain injury) to assemble the components as you (and many others) are doing. We'll just have to agree to disagree and move on. I even stated in the response to Mars Hydro that I KNOW there are better lights out there. There are also probably 300 ways to scrog if you look at individual preference and situation just as this does.I make about 1 might&control setup every few weeks for friends and family. Have been for the last year and half with LEDs. Strip and boards. Not just myself but many people running these same lights are achieving 2gpw (never even got close with hps/mh)
here’s an example of one of my 4x4 tents. Single plant one level ScrOG. Before I added the red strips that I currently run in this tent. These are a mixture of v1 and v2. The newest v3 lm301h Samsung diodes are now available, and like I said I have a set of 4, 288led boards I’ll be setting up in the next couple weeks. The ones shown here are 132 leds per board. I run 9 of them. You can get them at 140$ for 4. All my drivers are outside and I went commerical with internal fans, about 50$ for each and they control 4 boards per. I put potentiometers and digital multimeter displays on each. Again super cheap when sourced online.

I too work in a budget ! And I never would have bought a mars as I’m a do it yourself guy for sure! But I can compare old mars product with new! And there is no comparison! Also, if you're so sure of what you've got, since apparently you and your friends have so much money, same applies to you...send me something worth showcasing, and I'll do so... Ok calm yourself grow friend, I misread and im
Sorry. I didn’t realize you actually bought both burple and mars . now if you want to talk about handouts, I tried them but never took hand outs.when you have been growing for a long time, and you have friends that grow, you trade equipment some times to judge performance. If you lived close I would happily share joint and maybe even pass on a custom
Built setup for you to try. I have been growing for decades, and was lucky enough to never buy a burple or mars product, I did trade for a few over the years tho, and found them to be sub par. Again this has NOTHING to do with @DankVader75 ability to grow, his intelligence or as an insult to him. This is about the poor quality of mars and how it continues to mislead customers. Typically I custom build everything when it comes to my lighting. I have shared a number of builds here, and I have built much better lights and controls for less money than mars can provide. I much like you bought everything I have that I grow with, and wasted a lot of money over the years. That being said this is why I speak up, so people like you don’t have to waste as much time and money learning the same lessons. I’m sorry you took it as an attack at you, wasn’t the intention. Happy growing and good luck when that @MarsHydroLED burns out mid flower.
