Oh and just for the record u @Mr.jiujitsu have awsome threads on your builds and I’m sure In The future I will use them to build my next light!
I know this cuz I would have built my own using your latest build as a guide! Great job man !
Just remember only 1 out 10 people are skilled enuff to build ! And yes I know they are easy. But most people are stupid. Lol
@Mr.jiujitsu..... I appreciate a good debate. I don't take anything personal, as it's the internet and through text. I'm a person who does plenty of research. I took into consideration their old products and reviews as opposed to their newer products. I've always been dyslexic in respect to math and numbers in general. You, from the looks of it, have the ability to work numbers like a wizard. By this I mean the ability to know how to build the lights by component. I'm envious of that, I truly am. That's what I was arguing. The fact that yes, there are ways, like you stated, to make better lights for the budget. There are guys and gals like me, who For whatever reason, don't have the cognitive ability to do so. I also value your input and knowledge in this field of expertise. I've seen your posts, and know you're a walking cannabis encyclopedia like quite a few on here. I start reading things about growing on here that I have to stop because it gets TOO comprehensive, and I hold a college degree!! LOL there are SO MANY different people who have so much knowledge on here. I'm not going to name any personally, as I don't want to disrespect and of the great farmers I'd leave out. I've said it before, and I'll say it again... this site is the single most database of public grow knowledge ANYWHERE!! I'm honored to be able to be a part of it. I wish you continued success in the grow world and life!
+1 for methanks dude! But mars still blows bubbles
WELL SAID!!!!! We all feel the same just s little healthy banter this is a US based site so freedom of speech baby !@Mr.jiujitsu..... I appreciate a good debate. Yeah their new lights are amazing, not sure why people keep mentioning the old ones??Thanks for the shout out! I'm a new grower, BUT, I believe that helps, as I don't know good from bad when it comes to company reputation. What I do know is that I'm running a Mars Hydro TS1000 Next to a vivosun blurple light and the growth rate for the Mars Hydro is day and night better than the vivosun! Are there better lights out there? I'm sure there are, but for the price point and performance, I'll go with Mars Hydro every time!! I'm in no way a paid spokesman, nor am I at this time sponsored or affiliated with this company. I'm just a person who believes in value for the money. You can go cheaper, but when you do that, you assuredly run the risk of having to get something else when brand X,Y, or Z craps out on you. If @MarsHydroLED wants to shoot me a TSL2000, I'll gladly clear everything out of my 4x2x60" tent and show you what a difference a QUALITY PRODUCT will make when growing! Cheers to all, and enjoy your weekend!!

I too work in a budget ! And I never would have bought a mars as I’m a do it yourself guy for sure! But I can compare old mars product with new! And there is no comparison!
Mars may not be the best light in the industry, but that’s not where their market is !
If you are concerned about us new growers then you should spend time bashing king, recordcent, and the 100’s of Chinese manufactured that take new growers money ( mine included) $100 at time for a light that barley will run seedlings!
Mars is manufacting lighting organization that goal is to make money! And part of there budget is supporting the FARM ! Like it or not they are part of the reason we are able to share and have this site ! Not the only reason but a large one!
EVERY company exaggerates there capability as I’m sure you do as well . In the end we all know or should know about marketing techniques and take all claims with questions! From anyone!
In closing I would love to see some great bud porn from LED growers using Mars lighting! And some using other brands . As we all know how important lighting is important environment and gardening skills Make up 2/3 of The equation.
Again I’m not a bigmars supporter I just hate hearing all the slander directed at an organization that’s truly supporting this fucking awesome behind the screen community! That has nuthing to do with lighting, but everything to do with corporate citizenship !
K I’m done with my rants
I would be honored & gladly accept any helpful info and whatever bashing may come my way as long as its constructive!!!
Looks good! I'm new here too but don't expect any bashing, people seem friendly and helpful here. What strains are you growing? Is that soil? What kind of nutrients?
Appreciate That!!! Thats why i joined, Read few blogs & seems to be a very knowledgeable & helpful community & i need all the help i can get!! Bag Seed from friend. (Definitely will know strains next grow)
Fox Farm Happy FrogFor Soil & not using nutrients... i used Veg+Bloom HD 1st grow but, kinda want to go organic?? Idk...
Got a friend that keeps telling me i need more watts to get it through flower but we will see. I have faith before i have doubts, but this is all a learning process so i imagine i will learn here in about 10 weeks??
How big is your grow area? You need about 30 watts a sq. Foot for good coverage - your light is good for about a 2’x2’ tentAppreciate That!!! Put a tarp down and drip pans before you ruin the floor.Well i can assure you,,
i know very little when it comes to growing.. other than what i read,And that often is very conflictive & confusing..Only have Grown one plant ( outside) and thought i did ok, so i decided to a grow over winter in my closet. Dont have much $$, so i honestly went by reviews because reading about spectrim and everything to know about lighting is a bit advanced for me. But i bought a Mars TS 1000 and i will say i felt played (only complaint)when i found out it was only 150W & not 1000!! Not there fault!!! As if i had scrolled down, it clearly stated 150W!!
Would had bought a higher wattage light from Mars “had i known better” I just saw TS1000 $139.00 bucks and 3,000+ 4.5 Good reviews and bought it.. With that being said heres what i got so far 2nd day Flower & Im really Happy So Far!!!! And yes, i know theres alot of equipment i still need to make an official grow room but im broke and figured i needed a light soil & water first to get things going. (Got that part Down)... I would be honored & gladly accept any helpful info and whatever bashing may come my way as long as its constructive!!!
