Wanted Maximum dark during flowering without depressing yield?

What is the forum's opinion on the most darkness a typical plant can handle while remaining healthy? Does greater darkness equal greater quantity/quality?

It depends on the plant. In general, more hours of light make bigger yields. Some plants need 13 hrs dark to make dense bud, others might only need 10 hours. Autos don't need any.
