Little sun today but cool and wet. more storms on the way. Last storm peeled off the plastic on the top greenhouse and some of the bottom one also. I got the plastic back on the top one and it had little damage. Going to plant two more Choc. D sprouts and maybe a few others that are ready then work on the plastic some more. I also need to secure the screens as they are also coming undone. Lots and lots of work to do if the weather holds !

I'm still trying to catch up on the last 40 pages but will hopefully get some rainy days soon. Need time to finish the read and be ready to follow along for another season.

Did you have anything popping that you are super excited about crossing?

Don't know if you have been following Canadian law but the government here has put forward a plan to legalize recreational use and allow each home a 4 plant limit

To early to think about crosses. Don't know the sex of the sprouts yet. I'll need to make fresh seed first anyway. Yep heard Canada was working on legalization. Cali passed a recreational law on top of it's medical law. New law allows 6 plants on top of your counties medical grow.

Spent the day repairing damage to the greenhouses and using loathing instead of clips to secure the plastic. Got them about half done.

Good morning Mr. Castle, about the security, what about getting a few Rottweiler's or Doberman guards, that should keep the intruders away?

I got two strains starting to pop in 24 he's. Confidential cookies and 69 skunk. The skunk seeds surprised me as they are from 1969 and all of them have tails on them! They are some real road kill stinky ladies so it's going to be smelly around here this year!
While getting those seeds from 69 to throw tails is awesome as hell, if they are rks when they go into flower you will need to step up your security for sure. That aroma will draw rippers from afar. But it seems you are already thinking security from a earlier post. Good grow vibes and protection coming your way my friend.

The dutch started breeding the aroma out of a lot of the skunk lines back in the eighties due to the security risks those stinky gurls posed from both rippers and the man...... I'll bet I will be able to smell them from over here!!!!! Good job getting those to pop. :D Be well man

Well put a heat mat under the seeds to help more sprout. Got room under the light unless to many sprout. Got a chic d to sprout! Hope to get enough of as many strains as possible. First order is make fresh seed, second make moms, third make clones. I also got three Cherry Bomb and a Purple D clone from a friend. Like to run some crosses if I get enough viable extras
Not sure what to do with all the clones, I only need 30 for my grow unless I use some art pots somewhere.

Ooh I hope you put in some of them blueberry crosses you mentioned in an earlier post Mr. Castle Sir.

started out looking like rain but didn`t. I only worked for a short time as my feet were killing me! Disappointed , I made my favorite casserole ,and again burned it while baking in the oven. Doesn`t pay to get to baked while baking! LOL!

Working on the sides of the two upper greenhouses today. Sure wish they weren't built so dam close together. It's a tight squeeze and always having to squeeze in and out to get stuff so it takes longer. After that I'm going to take the screens down inside. Had them tied up out of the way but branches still grew through them making harvast harder. Then I can weed the insides and prep the soil. So much prep work! This last winter was ruff on the greenhouses. Got to get as much done soon as possible. It will only start getting warmer and I really need the hard chores completed before the heat.

Could use to lose some weight. always fatten up over the winter. I got most of the sides done. Couldn't squeeze through one part and have room for the drill. Going to put things away for the coming storm and burn off the burn barrel.

I got the weeding done in the greenhouses. Need to work on the screen doors and prep the soil. But need to work on the water supply first. The 1000 gallon tank needs filled the transfer and fresh water tabks need cleaned and filled. Oh I need to work on the road and clean out the spring also. The there is the general clean up of the camp. I also need to clean out the septic , not a fun job!

Looking at getting a helper. Got a few things to work out but this guy is living with a friend already and has his own plants. He's a former foster kid,has two German Shepards and no income. He works a few days a week and makes just enouhh to eat and feed his dogs. No car and no RV or anything but he has a tent. I'm told he is honest and is able to work.

sounds like he would be your man. :)

hope you are having a wonderful morning.

well i got a old seed to do something besides teasing me. laughs. it grew up with the tap root into the sky tho, so had to flip it around.. remove the seed hull and it also basically killed the cotyledon and just came up with its fist set of leafs.. laughs.. old seeds are very fucking unpredictable they do whatever the fuck they want.

hope your 69 skunk is thriving.

chris.

Went to town for my Dr. Apountment yesterday. Lost almost 3 LBS. Waiting on the results to my fasting blood test as the guecos machine was broken at the lab. Pucked up my Dad's old 357 S&W from the gunsmith. New rubber handle and had it cleaned and the action smoothed. Also picked up some line for my weed eater and some flat corner braces to squair up the screen doors on the greenhouse. Still need to stock up the propane and do a laundry run next trip. Got my seedlings out in the sun the last few days and stepped em up to a little larger pots .
