Measuring Plant Height

Just curious how you guys measure plant height. Is it to the tallest node, or to the tallest point on the plant? At the end of the day it doesn't matter so much, but I have some smaller seedlings/young plants I'm trying to flower early, and on the largest it's 3" at the top node, or 4" at the highest point on the plant.

The main thing is you're supposed to stay consistent with your practices, but I tend to be more liberal with smaller plants and go by the leaf height while with the bigger one I go by the highest node.
