Evryone is always right. But there is always exceptions to every form of righteousness.

Let's just do our best to not complain. Criticize or condemn. It's pretty easy . We are online not in person. That's all I care about. I think we all have great ideas and experiences to share

six string how much closer can you get a 600 ??? i have run 1000'sthem 14- 16" from tops with air movement between canopy and light
also note that closer the 600 gets the less canopy space it will cover so your screwed that way so outside plants are stretching like a mofo
Ask our self what are average yields for 600's
Here i will make it easy for you expect .5 per watt for novice grower that equates to 300 grams
Intermediate grower lets go .7 maybe .8 gpw 480 grams well below 1 gpw now lets look at a pro who has everything dialed in maybe 1.1 660 grams this is lets face it 600 watts is going to be in the 480 grams or 17 oz range 3 x 3 6 plants the more plants you add actually less yield per plant occurs cause of compaction and foilage but hey i guess you can always strip them leafs off them plants so lower bud sites might develop lol
with 1k's there is no need to run them that low to the plant running 1k at 16" or 26 " its litterally same dam penetration as in umol
so your defeating the purpose of lowering the light and getting less coverage
pretty simple really 600 maybe more effcient cost wise watt or watt but or every 6" that 600 gets moved away from the canopy your losing the effciency by 15 percent every 6 inches so really
me and buddy all we grew was pure power he ran 600's i ran 1000's i always beat him in yield his plants were tall stretchy one bud top bud was nice rest was small in comparison difference he ran 48 plants i ran 12 lol truth
most cases people use 600's cause of space and possibly heat but its always been known 1000's produce more bigger buds bigger plants and more yield
If you average it out what are most 600 growers achieving ??? 480 grams per 17 oz ??
what are most 1000 watt growers achieving 2 - 3 pounds per 1 k remember your talking about 1000 that is almost double the power :) seen it over n over n over n over did i say over n over there six string ???
2- 600's would struggle to beat 1 1000 watt at the end of the day its numbers that count like i said around DEC i will be firing up a journal here jihadi kush and train wreck x pck ,, under 1215 watt nano's i'll show you growth rates and most importantly yields like 3 + pounds per no worries there

i finally have all the plumbing done. and have enough girls to plants all my new rooms and the one i just took down (10 pounds from 8 600 with lots of room to improve)

now all i will do is cover the beds in poly, hang the lights, and plant some plants

i have my lemon head-band and strawberry fieldz ready to go. and a plethora of others; i just selected

i really will be honest. i prefer hydro growing and product over anything, especially from med-man tables

but when canada is about to legalize, and business is booming for me. nothing beats soil lol. i spent 20 hours on 90 days in the 10 pound room. i just love the guarentees

ya. i seriously have no quality time to spend with my ladies these days. just important times lol. feed every 3-4 days once roots are established. plants never wilt or die, unless you let them, but noit like container grows where plants can be all over the place size and feed wise

Is the bed completely sealed at the bottom? No run off? How do you know when you have watered enough in the beds? Just curious I haven't experienced growing in beds yet.

its a simple formula. everytime the room needs feeding. the plants get 1 liter per gallon of soil.

this tyoically works out to 1 rain barrel to every 8 lights.

Well there would be a huge difference 1000 watt would kill it althogh 600 watts are more efficient watt for watt there is no comparison when it comes to horse power or in light terms Umol 1000's 2100 umol new bulb 1925 stable vs 600 @ 1170 output stable
when comparing them into 4 x 4 600 @ 37 watts per Sq foot or 1000 @ 5 x 5 at 40 that 3 watt per sq foot difference is a huge difference in comparison lift that 600 light in 4 x 4 area and power drops drasticallyy or umol readings is pushing its limits outter edge of area plants will indeed stretch would be better off 3.5 x 3.5 or een 3 x 3 its sugested 2 - 600's or 5 x 5

fever, so im doing scrog this time around and decided to run 30 plants, in 20gal pots each under a 600w gavita, each will have 3x3 scrog space. im not sure how long my veg will be, its my first time running this cut, but do you think a 600W is enough for a large plant if its going to be scroged? i also agree with you which is why i went with 3x3 per 600w ... Also do 1000s give you larger yields even if they were in the same size pots? or do 1000s just affect the density of the buds? Basiclly im thinking i shoulda just ran 24 1000s under 30 plants instead of running 30 600s under 30 plants.....

you can grow big plants under 600w lamps.just dont go over 5 feet in height and you will be fine.

plus i think those 600w gavitas will be like growing under a 800w standard hps,they just are much brighter lamps.

i just got a 10 pack from 8 - 600w digis. scrog. from seeds.

could have easily been 12 pounds without issues and a good clone. do the math. 12 / 4.8 is killing it
