Seriously so florida is the shit best beaches I've seen kill Cali beaches but he humidity :( if nevada legalizes I'd be ghost before the ink dried always wanted to live in vegas( summerlin )would be nice but ft lauderdale isn't bad either.

Ft lauderdale is a great place to chill. Im enjoying the weather right now.

I dont see florida side stepping indoor cultivation one bit. I agree it could benefit a lot of the struggling greenhouses but knock out indoors. never. Ive been in this state all my life. all over from Keywest to jax. grown in very part of it. indoors and out. and trust me right about now offers are flying everywhere. still no clue how its gonna be till down the road and regulations are in place. Ive had 3 6 figure offers in the last 2 months. and ive heard of countless other stories behind the scenes. so many people are gonna try and jump into this. its gonna be a cluster fuck and if any state and make a mess of it its florida.

ps. the commersh around florida can be crap. a lot of it in miami is picked way to early. but in the right circles its always been kill. and again Ive had it all over the state. when the cultivation centers are up and running the quality wont get much better imo. to many jumping into the game that know nothing about this plant. its all money to them and when the bottom line says pull it now so I can get another run in it doesnt matter who your lead grower is. to many investors looking at bottom line not in it for the passion and quality. just my opinion.

ya if one state can fuck it all up...florida is the one.

I can't speak too in depth about it but the state just gave the go ahead on a 7 acre greenhouse for their CBD research b/s this summer. I might be getting to work on this project a little bit, very excited...

Just about every investor I've talked to has tons of experience with the industry (it's been around for quite a while now...) and it's not like they're just taking their money to florida...every offer I've gotten was from either a dispo out here that's opening not just in florida but other states like new mexico alabama nevada and mass...or from a large-scale (as in, the owner sits on an advisory board to the FDACS) nurseries that are partnered with out of state dispensaries. Sure there is a lot of talk and commotion down there in the sunshine state, but for all of it there have only been around 60 businesses to register/incorporate in the state so far, and by the looks of it (and from some really awesome rumors) the people writing the bill are not going to follow the "seed to sale" model meaning that you can apply for whatever licesnse you want (grow, distribution center, retail center, processing, kitchen, etc).

but ya, whichever way it goes, it's a gurantee this is going to be a real shit show. There will likely be a lot of inexperienced people trying to get started in florida...but from what i'm seeing, the big money players that have already made their killing in this industry already have their ducks in order and are pretty much just waiting for november to come.

Just passed on moving back to Cape Coral with a job for me and the wife at a family owned auto part distributor. I passed because I'd hate to move from a legal state, to an illegal state. Hell I already did a couple years for growing before it came legal here. Which sucked.
But last time I was down in Ft. Meyers working on the land oil drillin' rigs, we couldn't find ANY dank, let alone green commercial. But Big Cypress had some dank poppin. $400 a zip. Just labeled as Og. It wasn't an Og. Sweet & fruity though. Not very strong taste or smell, but had a killer buzz.
I wish Fl would legalize ATLEAST medical use. I'd be on my way home, that's for sure! With the population being mostly dusty ass ole retiree's from the Reefer Madness generation who's money is controlling the Fl government or they are still in the government. Gotta cycle them out and get the more open minded generations in power there. The ones who aren't still caught up on the mis information handed down for generations or Reagan's War on Drugs.
I hope they do get it together for the People. Goodluck. I've got alot of family down there that are all pro MMP!!!

lived in ft myers to. not that long ago. CO product is flooded around there. 240 a zip. quality is ok. I always got more but did know the competition was there. guess its all in who ya know.

Lol, I lived out in Lehigh Acres. Worked in Ft. Meyers. If I moved back to Fl, it would be Cape Coral most likely, but work in Ft. Meyers.
I LOVE fishing the canals!!!! Full of monster bass and gar pike!! Blue crab in the saltwater canals. Tie a chicken leg to some fishin line and wait a few min. Pull it in and there will 5 or 10 of them suckers latched on to that chicken!! Awesome! Zatarans Crab boil and some butter! Oh yea!!!
