Hey y’all, this is Agatha, she’s a peach pie strain. Grew her outside over the summer and she’s almost done! Any thoughts on how much longer she has? She’s so beautiful I don’t want to mess her up. She’s starting to hang over now that she’s so big. Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Hey Jali1219,
I don’t see any amber trichs in your pictures. I would wait unto you see some Amber, at least 1/3 to 1/4 of your trichs.

Seems to me a lot of the harvesting outdoor is more dependant on weather. If an extended period of rain with lower temps arrive you are at least entering the window and do not have to try and save a grow for " just 10 more days "
Nicely done.

She's dreamy. You'll love her 'til she's gone😊

Or impatience😂 I got a Gelato 5 days late and still no amber that little bitch🤣 and I NEED to remove the tomato stand she's attached to and build my new greenhouse. She's got one more day and my shipment from Amazon arrives then it's curtains Rocky

Thanks! I’m still fairly new to this so this one was my absolute best so far. I harvested 2 others a few weeks ago that were half her size and they are amazing! I believe her size is do to growing with copper wire. That may be the key 😬

Splain growing with copper wire.
I sense data input imminent.
Grounding plants and/or raised beds is a thing. I've read about it but I'm no longer growing anything in the ground.

Me too looking forward for more imput😉

The trichromes (trichs) that you see all white on the plant are what hold the cannabinoids, THC, CBD, etc. Most growers wait until 10-25% of the trichs became an amber or bronze color. This is when you want to harvest for arguably the best effective medicine.

Taking them early is just fine. Taking them later is okay too. At this point you're going to have good smoke regardless😉

Growing with copper wire is based on the principle of electroculture, which suggests that using copper can potentially enhance plant growth by creating an electric field in the soil. While scientific evidence is debated, proponents claim benefits include improved nutrient uptake, stronger root systems, and natural pest deterrence, as copper itself is an essential micronutrient for plants. It’s worth looking into, my other 2 plants grown without it were less than half the size. Agatha was well above my fence line before she got too heavy. I’ll update how many oz I get from her when I harvest. The other 2 plants yielded only 92 grams together. I used a thick large copper pipe and just put it close to her in the dirt. She literally grew as tall as the pipe! Let me know what you find out!

I got 5 plants in dwc now one is 2 times bigger than the rest same seed pack and no copper its just the genetics dude

Could be for sure, my personal experience with growing along side of copper wire even with my gardens have shown significant growth improvement over all, again but how do we really know! 🤣 its all in the eye of the beholder honestly 😉
