So take NPK (using random number just to explain)ahh i think i understand. by increasing the EC through A and B and keeping the ratios as it is i will naturally increase the K
is that right ?
that has helped a lot . thank you so much @Aqua Man .So take NPK (using random number just to explain)
1.6 EC
mega crop only
N=150ppm
P= 50ppm
K= 200ppm
npk total = 400ppm
the rest is made up of various others
you have a 3-1-4 ratio
then you add 150ppm of K from bud candy.
N=150
P=50
K=350
your ratios change so when you dilute it to 1.6 you have less N and P but more K.
So you may need to increase the ppm to get adequate N of 150ppm which translates to running a higher ppm
this is a terrible explanation but just to give you an idea of what i mean
Ratios are more important than concentration… and different genetics have different preferences as well as at different times. There are some general statements that ring true but imo there is no one best recipe that is the best for all plants.that has helped a lot . thank you so much @Aqua Man .
i am trying to learn and understand more about nutrients and ratios, but it can be a bit challenging at first .
Yup yup they looking great manhi @Aqua Man
i am starting week 6 of flower today .
i have changed the feeding 3 days ago from a near 50/50 of A and B to get to 1.6 with 1g/G of sweet candy , 1g/G epsom salts to get to 1.6 , to now doing this
0.2EC tap water
4.2 of A and 1.8 as a ratio to get to 1.3 EC
1 g/G sweet candy
1 g/G epsom salt
to get to 1.6EC
is that about right ?
i have about 4 weeks of flowering left and will use a low EC for the last 2 weeks
thank you mate , you've been a massive help and i appreciate it very muchYup yup they looking great man
Hey @Aqua Man is it recommended to feed with 600 to 800 ppm at every watering in cocopeat or feed water water feed..?So take NPK (using random number just to explain)
