MH or HPS for "stretch"

I posted this in the indoor forum to but didnt get a good response. We all know MH is better then HPS for vegging and HPS is better for flowering. The first few weeks of 12/12 or the "stretch" the plants arent actually budding so I was curious as to which light would be optimum for this period. I've never really thought about this I have always just switched to HPS when i switched to 12/12.

Hi, I had the same question. So I tried flowering under a Sunmaster warm MH bulb. I like the buds better so I put my 1000 watt Hortilux HPS on the shelf. But for the first few weeks only, you'll see less strech. Peace

The best option would be to use both in your grow room.
