Hey guys... got a few questions about my first outdoor grow.
While I have years of experience indoors, (have one in the works) my experience outside is limited.
With the Michigan climate what can I expect? I did start later than I should have (late June) they are all about 1ft tall give or take and I have 5... please no comments on the height lol my dad thought he was being nice and fertilized them when I already had and he used F-ing miracle Grow! So they got stunted for about two weeks after I flushed them.
Anyways, what can I expect as far as flowering times and harvest times? When does flowering even start here? I assume Sept-oct... I'm not expecting much at all. Maybe an ounce or two per plant on the high end...
Any advice at all would be bad ass. Thanks.

Yeah. They are in 20gal pots... some do share space with cayenne peppers, pablono peppers and red petter peppers... I did this at first because I wasnt sure if my nieghbor was cool so I used them as camouflage because of how well they both responded to my compost tea, but he snuck up behind me when I was tending to them and said "got a little cannabis there?" I knew then he was on the level lol I know indoors it's good to have dedicated pots but indoors I've used 5gal buckets so I figured 20gal would support multiple plants well and they dont seem to be fighting for space or food. Seems to be coexisting pretty well. I could be wrong here lol but ok. I should shoot for after Halloween lol

As soon as the nights get cool, the buds will start coming .
I'd say they will start budding, at the end of this month ...

I'll just let them be for now... but I'm way ahead of you for next year lol I'm just gonna plant a bunch of autos. I usually dont mess with autos but I figure if its outdoors the only money I'm realy spending is on seeds and I dont have to wait lol

in the u.p. the usual 8 week hybrids start 3rd week in august. but we use fast strains to avoid the rain, mildew. i have a iranian cross that will be done end of month. dr. greenthumb. i prefer landraces, or f1 hybrids of lands. also found from the real seeds company, a turkish one and a egyptian one. both fast. done end of august to mid sept.

I am just north of you in southern ON. The plants I have in the ground right now are just in there first week of flower. They will be done first week of October but I may cut down early to avoid mold and mildew problems. My plants are pretty big so I top a bunch to create smaller bud sites and I clean out the middle and overlapping fan leaves to hopefully stop mold. My first year so we will see. Mine are indica strains (I think they do better in colder climates in general. Indica=mountain climates. Sativas=jungle climates).

yeah I have noticed that climate change has really strung out our fall but at the same time made it somewhat unpredictable. Just keeping my fingers crossed and keeping an eye on the weather!

It's a custom strain I've been working on... a cross between jack Herer, platinum girl scout cookie, skunk #1, pine tar kush, BlackBerry kush and bluedream lol then that one strain crossed back with Jack Herer. So I have no idea what to call it lol

When they get wet or heavy with dew resist the urge to shake it off. The water will go deep into the bud possibly creating mold. Use an absorbent towel to wick the water if necessary.
