Huge shoutout to @SpiderFarmerLED for shipping out this SE3000! This will be my topic to display the Spiderfarmer light for all to follow along with my grows as I dial her in!

Gettin off the bat well look at a bit about the light itself!

Mikedins 4x4 rockin with the spiderfarmer se3000 come join the fun 2

Starting off super excited to try out these LM301H EVO diodes and touting a 3.14 umol/J! Been messing around with this dimmer and I love it… watching power usage off my power meter this dial tuning ability is extremly precise at 3w/% 0-100 matching the light it replaced in the tent that was running 250w@ 16” producing 450ppfd

Currently have the SE3000 set at 30” at 55% (165w) pushing 520ppfd to the tops, very impressed just within minutes of setep and saving 100w of power instantly! All that at near double the distance to the tops

Speaking of setup I had her in the tent, up and running within 10 minutes of opening the box, super simple, packaging was excellent!

We’ll look at some more aspects of the light as we move through the grow but for now… let’s see what she’s got under her, currently the plan will be to scrog 2x Kahunas from @Captspaulding that are currently about 5 weeks into veg, the net they will have to fill in is 34”x40” nice size to leave some space around the outer perimeter for airflow

Let’s get This show on the road!

Hey Mike.....looks like an impressive light!! I know for a fact, while I'm sitting in on this, if you don't mind, I'll be behind as usual, but catching up is well worth it!!
thanks fam! cant wait to see how it performs, not to mention its just under 12 lbs super light bar design, and producing less heat then the previous light presumably due to a lower wattage usage

Morning folks! The SE3000 is kickin it for sure in the 4x4, higher quality LED’s are showing their true value here, higher par lower wattage and a ton less heat! Tent barely hitting 78F 😍

Let’s keep it rockin!

The LM301H diodes utilized by the @SpiderFarmerLED SE300 rock a wide spectrum range providing plants with everything they need to grow healthy. The light has a very impressive light spread footprint for its size. Although the light is designed for a 2x2 - 3x3 and I am running it in a 4x4 to see it’s true potential I am finding adequate par to all sides for flower. Currently I have r here light set to 30” above the Kahunas, running 55% power and achieving 540ppfd in the center and 400ppfd in the corners

Still early but compared to previous lights I’ve ran in this setup this light is over performing off the bat and I can’t wait to see how we progress once we move twords flower in a few weeks !

Now for some pics!

Love the digital read out. I got the 23 version with dimmer. But No read out. That really makes it nice. I grew in a 2x2. Super dense bud. Wish I could get on board with spiderfarm love their light. Praying for a full control set up fans lights inline all on one controller would be sweetest.

I found the cord is a bit short to remove the ballast completely from my tent on this model with the way the ballast is back fed to the dimmer control mainly because my light is not right at the top of the tent, but it’s ok as it barely is producing any heat, in fact I’ve been noticing my exhaust is barely turning on as the trigger point isint being met to start the exhaust I may have to switch over to a humidity based trigger. Love not having to deal with the excess heat, and plants love it as wel!

Thanks for not beating me up on spelling. Lol. I'm currently at 20" in at 225 watts about 750 ppfd. About 75 % week 5 flower The 10 " and 8" recommendations are a little to close for my comfort. Thoughts?
Same! I’m always about twice reccomwnded distance to the plants though, I find the greater the distance to the light the less demand for cal or mag, even if at the same Par value and only difference being the light. I prefer to keep lights as far as possible from the plants to reduce as much stress as possible.

Hell, yeah dude I’m excited to see what you pull with that thing. Yeah I’ve had great success with the SE 7000 and the SE 3000 and truly if you want to do more with less that 3000 pulls its weight and then some I was flowering out somewhere near 10 5 gallon pots with 3 7gallon pots as well so 13 plants basically stuffed in the back of my bunker before I got the upgrade, you absolutely love that thing, dude It’s just great technology super light build if you can keep the driver out Of the tent, though they got really good long and umbilicals on their lights

My footprint in my flower room of the shed is a little bigger than the 4x4 foot print recommend for that se3000 but I have no doubt that it would do wonders in there! I feel like they are brighter than we realize and can get away with pushing the boundaries a little bit!

I have seen your pudd’n man! I would eat that shit! 😍✌️ hell just about all you dudes running theses lights are doing great things with them!

Im flowering out the GMOxOkie with just the sf1000! It loved vegging under it : ) and I know it’s going to love flowering under this thing too!

Thanks fam! I’ve been wanting to test out spiderfarmer lights for quite some time! I already use multiple of thir Exhausts, and heat mats, I’m more than happy to add more to the setup!
I really need to get one of their controllers so I can start getting the fans and what not! I really want to get more automated than I am right now. Thanks for sharing Mikedin!
