I mean theoretically yes you can get a clone from a leaf, but the only way i know how to do it is through tissue cultureHey thc , yea thats why i started the mini me clone thread. This friend of mine , because of lack of space and his huge ambition , he had things going in every freaking direction
I was like a kid in the candy shop , like , whats this ? Whats that ? And he was going on and on , oh thats my bx male over there , these are my f2 over here ,
I could hardley keep up with everything he had going , then on the floor he filled rapid rooter trays , not the rapid rooters , just promix , he had them filled with round a hundred cuts that were so small that they looked like a single leaf....
I told him he was crazy , since i have more experience than him , i said , this aint gonna work forget about it , let me educatue you.....
He just rolled his eyes and said ok.... you know everything , like we all do . Then he said dont worry about it im doing these they will be ready in a month or two.
When i walked away , i realized he was probably right , even though at the time i couldent see the point...
Later , i decided to challenge myself , i took the lowest shoot , light starving and weak off a plant that had actually been just a clone itself 3 weeks earlier...
You can see that one , the smallest in some early pages....
Its rooting now , i think its been a month or more , gotta check, i circled it With a red pen my photo gallery , its the one that has like 1/4 inch stem and just one leaf...its growing now but for sure its a 2 month clone forecast...
When i told my buddy he said , yea , i do that all the time , i just did a leaf , i think hes full of shit ? But i dont know? Can you root a leaf ??
I bet if you cut the leaf with just a scrape of stem connected , it will work

Good grief, I'm glad I wasn't only one confused about these names, I kept reading "new" techniques & thinking that it sounds just like what we were doing 10 years ago lol.
Nobody on this thread seems to have giant chips on their shoulders either lol
