how often do u guys replace ur t5/s, in ur cloners n prop trays

with the hps it was every season

I've never changed my prop bulbs

any recommendations

they can handle a boost @ 6x current garbage and improve/decrease my lingling stretching

i could go to the bigtop sooner

but i fuck up n drown less than 6" roots
i could experiment with wolf's 4, though

I find growth lacking after a year or 18 months if they have not started flickering or look too burned on the ends or dull already.

My ge bulbs last a lot longer than the rebranded cheaper ones like sunblaze and such. I have had a lot of the stock included bulbs butn out early.

I use 10 2 footers in the veg tent.

mine stretch n don't harden in the prop tray by 2wks

I'm cool with the delays

the stretching sux

it HAS to b the lighting cause the big lights take over, in no time

i last few times, have been letting em do this in the cloner so i don't have to feed em by the handed spoonfulls
i screw up by damping, if i leave water in the bottom of the prop trays so i try to get em into set n forget cloner, til i get the 6" roots i require if i want em high in the netpots; which i prefer

has to b the weak lighting, don't u think?

i was just lookin at a grow in triage
he's in soil/ish medium and is hardened off at like an inch; already stacking. I'm so jealous! i didn't ask about the light. i didn't need to... but he was definitely in his big top

if i try to start em in the gh rainforest or whatever model i have, which is supposed to... i screw it up, but man, it would b a relief to b able to start everything in one place. besides the 12/12 issue I'd run into n bitch about, next.

Lol. I have been showing sick plants a while now ever since my back decided to stop working properly. But im turning it back round now.

How far and how many tubes are over the seedlings? I start under 10 2 ft. Tubes at about 12” and slowly work them up to 8” away. When they stretch a bit past the rim of the party cup i bury them to the cots almost with fresh soil. I leave a gap on the cup when planting for this. Cant help with the aero or hydro. Never did any before. Always potting soil so far.

they never had an opportunity to fully regrow the tops

it was obvious i screwed em up by doing so

some people get away with topping em, but cloning was a waste

i assumed the peeps i was watching do it
weren't as determined

so i rewired it

oh, man... can u set it up to do the chores from your knees? this really helps me, when i gotta spend more time than just an rh fill, or dump. sorry to hear it.
wasn't til i could stand n do other activities, every season became NOT SO pretty. now, i don't have the attention span and the longer i have to b around the plants, like a flush day, the weirder n more stressed i get.

if i had to guess, 10" hood made with the bicycle rest the light sits in
i have a 2" lid with another peet designed tray, but no light rest so prolly melt it

the cloner has same light

with a triangular set of feet i can cheet up, or down, but I'm usin it and... hmmm... maybe... nm... doesn't matter. it's too weak a bulb, even if i lowered it, swapping em. i think i just need a stronger bulb. i assume they make em. i suspect these bulbs are around 12". they're just whatever comes with the kit prop trays.

I have been staggering strains from multiple packs for years. The different phenos still offer variety. Every week or two I plant a seed or two and harvest about the same. A plant or two at a time. Because of an accidental open pollination I have a lot of mixed seeds now. Oops. Cant vouch for them but they sure could have some serious phenos come from them. Like 5 different plants i love were in the room at the time.

Appreciated but not needed right now bud.

i gotta grab a shot of the prop tray/stretcher

I'll look for better bulbs in next couple days
do a lil homework on 12" t5 bulbs n report back, whatever i learn

went to job site
gave em a solid 45min
til i copd coughed out
that's how it goes
when my heart rate increases
cost of 33ish yrs of Marlboro n lesser brand, investments
don't start smokin...
combined with yesterday's 4hrs, of nothing, essentially: a full hr of work from 2hrs of to n fro
best i can manage
basically keeping pace with refuse cleanup, as best i can. will probably roll Saturday, again, over my shortcomings; cost of doin biz with Larry the roofer...
