...Cooling a grow. Room in the winter?


How can I use a mini split if snow is going to be on the ground ?

Yeah but how will It cool a room sucking in cold air wouldn't the air need to be warm to turn to cold

i believe the ac should have a rating for lowest outside temp it can run in... each unit is different.

i guess there is no way you can draw straight in from the outside air?

Any fluctuation in temperature outside would also change inside then

What's your minimum winter temp?

And yes you can draw in cold outdoor air as a form of cooling with the right controls.

outside air would be best if applicable,AC unit will work if indoor temp is above 56 degrees i believe

Like myco said the consistency lies in the control of air. Get a temp control gauge for your intake. So this way you can regulate the temp of the room no ac needed.

If your running a quality mini split it should have a heat setting. If your afraid of the fan controller failing set it to heat when it get below a certain temp. Make sense?
