So I just started a Mango Sugar Ryder (fem auto) and a Green Crack (fem) seed in my indoor tent.

Of course, I thought I had similar photoperiods, but alas, no. The MSR is 20/4 all the way through its cycle. I come to find out that the GC seems to prefer a more traditional 12/12 then 18/6 - or at least I assume it does.

What happens if I maintain the 20/4 period all the way through the grow? I'm really hoping to LST/FIM these plants to keep them stubby, but apparently the GC (sativa) likes to grow much taller than the 41" I have of grow height.

Seeking input on growing mixed photoperiod plants in the same grow tent. Should I keep all at 20/4? Or should I short the MSR and start with 18/6 for first month or so (until half of desired height) and then switch over to 20/4? Input welcome...

most auto plants I have seen recommend 18/6 all the way from seedling to harvest

I'm just reading the "directions". Both listings I saw for Sugar Mango Ryder said 20/4. I've never seen that either.

I am not surprised. I had heard tales about that one for a year or two before the G-Man ended his radio show.

have been toying with tge idea of adding another of his quotes.

Three can keep a secret only if two of them is dead.

I liked the G-Man much better than Rush.

FYI - I love the G-Man. Though is USMC officer son was busted for kiddie porn back in the summer...

I agree.

I was a fan of the G-Man's show.

I even have an autographed picture ofhim standing beside his Corvette ZR1.

G-Man and I were both alike.

he never backed down from a fight.

When he was swore in for a hearing before congress about Watergate. he had the guts to answer no and they sent him back to prison.

Finally, someone makes some sense ; ) Thanks. That makes a lot more sense to me. I'm not trying to grow monsters. I want bonsai. 2x4 booth. Not a lot of room. Don't need a lot of crop. Quality matters.

Oh and this is my first true indoor grow. I stashed an outdoor plant that looked like Ichabod Crane when done but produced some quality fruits. That being said, I am an advancced gardener, so now that I've been through 1 outdoor and 1 partial indoor grow, plus lots of experience with seedlings of all types. One will be in coco (ph adjusted) and one in my fox farms/perlite mix with worm castings. My biggest enemy is free time during the week as I have to do some traveling. I have about wekk and half to get them happy before I have to leave for a few days. My wife can do wellness checks though LOL.
