Mixing Granular Nutrients & How to PH Without Liquid

So if I am mixing my granular nutrients with a air stone.. Can I use Sodium Carbonate(Soda ash)to raise my PH and Sodium Bicarbonate(baking soda) to lower my PH? Or will this affect my water and plant quality.. Also is using a air stone the most effective way of Mixing Nutrients
