Oh give it a rest, I agree the dick bumping is childish and basically moronic.
Why exactly do you feel motivated to hate Pete Rose? His biggest crime was agreeing to a permanent ban, when he should have admitted guilt..and at most it should have meant a one season banning. He actually did make it into the HOF recently...and no he never bet against his team.

In the early 1960s, NFL stars Paul Hornung and Alex Karras were both suspended for one season for betting on games (but not against their own teams). Hornung wound up in the Hall of Fame, while Karras became a television star. Neither were generally thought to have seriously endangered the sport or its popularity.

Just because you recognize the name and the misappropriated hate from others..doesn't equal a "douche bag". He holds baseball records that his critics can only dream about.
