Molasses has a specific use, which is to kickstart micro-organisms in organic mixes, which break down unavailable nitrogen into available nitrogen. Once the population is kickstarted, it doesn't do much. It's not directly available or useful to the plant. If you're not doing full on organic, its not needed. Once you soil is established, it's not needed. Two much attracts pests.Does molasses really work ?!
