the ever clear will remove the trichome heads, peroxide will just wash and kill mold.
A good H2O and peroxide bath would be worth a try. the water will not soak into plant material (buds).
dip them in and give a good under water shake. then pull them out and shake again. hang to dry.
Some peeps will use multiple buckets. keeping the last one as fresh as possible.

Would you say a 50/50 mix H2O/H2O2?

With alcohol, the THC is not degraded. It is removed from plant material and is in the alcohol. You would then have to evaporate the alcohol to have trichomes left over.
Your buds will just have way less thc, and not consumable.
Depending on type of peroxide, 3% I would say 50-50.
There is also a lemon juice and baking powder mixture with the water. That is for just regular washing. they claim it does not harm the buds or degrade them.
Personally I would not use real cold water, don't want to make trics brittle.
There is also the option to make water hash, if you have the hashbags.

Thanks. Degraded was probably a poor word choice but I appreciate the clarification. It always helps knowing more in depth what's going on.
No I don't have the hash bags. I've seen them on Amazon for pretty cheap though.
Cool. I'll probably do the H2o2 mix and see what comes of it.

He specified what fluids work well for extractions with mold. Some fluids do not begatebthe mild spores, and those wool end up in your extract.

Be very careful with moldy material. If you don't get it all out, it can make ppl sick or kill ppl with compromised immune symptoms.

Yeah, I Want to make sure I feel like I get all the spores. I feel I'm pretty susceptible to mold/fungus. I really don't want to have anything i feel like I didn't get everything decontaminated.

To be sure I understand the mold issue, I too had a few buds with mold. I separated out the visual mold buds but now I wonder if the other buds are also contaminated and need to be tossed. I don’t want to get sick or die as s result of mold on my weed.

I don't think or now if there is a way to test. I do know mold spores suck because they are so easy to spread. I decided I was going to try and make some RSO out of it, just haven't had the time yet. I've just been keeping the jars sealed.

Bummer, sorry to hear you had some as well. I don't know how sick it will or could make you. Definitely, depends on your immune system and if there is any compromise. Just figured I'd rather not take the chance and I surely didn't want to pass that to anyone else.
