The reason for the iraq war was because saddan hussein decided to sell oil for something other than the petro-dollar. plain and simple, the rest is smoke and mirrors. When saddam was a youngster he was imprisoned for trying to assasinate the president of iraq. he spent many yrs in the can, he worked for the CIA. When the govt was overthrown there like in Iran (remember they executed democratically elected mossadegh on iranian TV), saddam was #1 boy in the eyes of the US govt and was installed. Later on he got pissed off and decided to break the golden rule and shove 1 up the us' ass by selling oil for euros. This is covered extensively in writtings by John Perkins.
The reason the Us attacked Libya was becuase quadaffi decided to sell oil for something other than USD, and to top it off the fucker got together with the other african leaders (they have some congress type thing going like a league of nations), they decided theyd been fucked by the developed western world enough. Their idea was to create a gold based african dinar system, and to only sell the resources of africa in this currency. The UN replied by flying in a bunch of taliban and al queda fighters from other theaters and deposing, then rifle ass fucking and killing maumar. the supposed, sometimes enemy, mulsim fundamentalists hated quadaffi becuase he was a liberal muslim and didnt believe in all that hardcore jihad crap, he was a big enemy of taliban and alqueda and would shoot the fuckers whenever he found them. These islamist mercenaries gladly did the dirty work. There is an interview done by RT of a libyan guerilla commander (yemeni) bragging he had killed americans and would do so again. he was flown into libya on a US transport plane. How fucked up is that shit.
Some of the same insurgents in Syria from that little depositione were flown to southern turkey by the UN, and went into syria to get that show kicked off.
