But don't lump all democrats into one category, just like you won't lump all Americans in one (or shouldn't) if you're outside the country.

I fucking hate a lot of the people that speak out for what I stand for (extremely comparable to weed politics) yet I for sure will not defend fucking retards that say if god doesn't want a woman to have a baby she won't, plain and simple. Everyone is going in the right direction with no reason u-turns everywhere.

Oh wait I forgot, the reason is the almighty dollar.

Opium, as in the big pharmaceutical companies get to make all the money on it; vicodin, percocet, oxycontin...

Correcto mundo AND the black market, especially heroin.

But NONE of our problems have anything to do with a "president" or dems and repubs and the entire political circus show. We have to get beyond the smoke and mirrors, people.

Start to read about the people who are REALLY pulling the puppet strings. If we have any chance to improve this world (and it's people) we need to start waking up.

I'm gonna give you gives a perfect example regarding how the media is manipulating us...

I often like to listen to NPR, Limbaugh, a few others just to see what "they're" up to. Anyway, Limbaugh a few weeks ago was going on a tear about those "damn, dirty liberals"...And he's going on and on about how the liberals HATE conservatives, about how liberals HATE the Constitution, about how liberals HATE freedom...He was really working his audience into a feeding frenzy and it bore itself out in the callers who called in to express their HATRED toward liberals.

Hate...Such an effective weapon to use in whipping the masses into line. I believe Hitler used the same tactics when he set out on a campaign to rid the world of Jews.

As a juxtaposition what did NPR say? Was there a commentator speaking about Hating conservatives? I think that is one obvious difference, the anger in political rhetoric on the right, whereas you take liberal big wigs like Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert and they don't address their grievances with such anger speak.

Whoa that's taking it a little far lol. I don't think limiting the amount of sugar we can I take w one purchase to 50 grams is like burning and murdering millions of people...
lol, I'm just saying the government has been compared to Hitler several times already in this thread.

Liberals have their own ways of bashing conservatives and it too is extremely hate-filled. Colbert and Stewart made a name for themselves bashing Conservatives with their quips, I would enjoying watching them debate with some of talk show's finest like Mark Levin. Someone who could properly educate them on politics.

I did not. I compared the propaganda presented in the media to the campaigns the Nazi Party implemented in the thirties to sway popular opinion.

I know you did, I read it. Was simply trying to point out how easy Hitler's name has been through around in this thread. Comparing that man to anyone or anything is a pretty big deal.

Elaborate on the hate filled rhetoric please. Melissa Harris Perry, Chris Hayes, Maddow, they are not hate filled in their rhetoric or their words. Interesting when compared to Bill O Rielly, Hannity, or Rush.

First off, Bill O Rielly is no Conservative and yes the guy mows people down, verbally, on the regular, generally because he doesn't want to hear their bs. Second, Hannity has been yelled at counltess times on his T.V. show but I would image you wouldn't watch much Fox news, too conservative. And I do no listen to enough Rush to back his attitude towards liberals. I do not watch liberal news (msnbc) so I couldn't speak on behalf of those individuals and I don't feel this discussion is valuable enough to do a YouTube search. Everyone blows up at some point or another. I have seen Stewart's show as well as Colbert's and will never watch them again. I have also see the shit show's Michael Moore put's together. Bottom line is both sides argue, whether it's yelling or softly/playfully discrediting someone it's always backed by hate.

Nah you are very wrong, my mother is a die hard fox news fan I get more than my fair share and have listened to Rush since 94 when Clinton was considered the anti-christ. You prove my point in saying you don't watch liberal news, so making the comparison is unfair. Sure the two, liberals and conservative pundits, don't like each others political philosophy but they are not equal in their treatment of each other, not at all. If you watched the Daily Show that would become more than clear, Stewart constantly has conservatives on his show and his treatment towards them is much more kind and respectful than I have ever seen on the other side.

"Bottom line is both sides argue, whether it's yelling or softly/playfully discrediting someone it's always backed by hate."

I think that is wrong. Most liberals are from the collegiate setting and seem to me to be attempting to "educate" more than hate, not saying there aren't liberal pundits that are full of hate but the majority of popular ones are not like this.

That is so disgusting. Lets only focus on the white Europeans thats couldn't handle their own country, raped pillaged and murdered for this soiled land, just to not help any other humans!!!! Wtf?!?!? We are all here in earth. If you lived in a desert you can grow rice dude.
I do live in the desert and I do grow a bunch of food.

Sorry for being a Darwinist. If there is no water and you cant grow food, change your address. It has worked for thousands of years.

Nature has decided how many people an area can support, man has overridden nature to some extent. There is no reason I can think of why people who rely on handouts, be it American welfare or bags of rice from a ship, should be having unlimited amount of children without being able to support them in some way. They are just breeding more hungry people and I hold them responsible for causing harm to the children they had when they can not possibly care for them.

Who brought race into it? Conquering others has been a human pastime sense the beginning of recorded history and beyond. Its not limited to any one people and it's still going on.

The reason for the iraq war was because saddan hussein decided to sell oil for something other than the petro-dollar. plain and simple, the rest is smoke and mirrors. When saddam was a youngster he was imprisoned for trying to assasinate the president of iraq. he spent many yrs in the can, he worked for the CIA. When the govt was overthrown there like in Iran (remember they executed democratically elected mossadegh on iranian TV), saddam was #1 boy in the eyes of the US govt and was installed. Later on he got pissed off and decided to break the golden rule and shove 1 up the us' ass by selling oil for euros. This is covered extensively in writtings by John Perkins..

Mossadegh was one of the greatest men that ever lived. Unfortunately corruption and greed won. Mossadegh was not executed but banished to live the remainder of his life in his house in his village. He died shortly after his wife passed. God give him peace.

"A person's worth in society is dependent on how much one endures for the sake of the people" Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh

Here's the issue and it's spelled out so painfully clear in this thread and others like it, and that is...
"They" (TPTB) want us polarized. They want us "pointing fingers" at one another. They want us divided, because the minute "we" present a "united front", the minute "We The People" show solidarity..."they're" in trouble. If we were all to come together and saw collectively that we need to effect a change in government, they'd be out either peacefully or through rebellion, they'd be ousted. "We" are also too comfortable to even want to do anything about it. As long as we have our "Dancing With The Stars" and our reality shows, and processed foods, we'll sit on our asses and do what we're told.
Things only happen once it starts..."hurting".
like coots from ic says, the only thing amerikans fear is inconvenience.

Everyone has there own opinion. The news and radio I listen to make the MOST sense to me and I gave the liberal based programs a try, I did, they all rang false to me, but this is why we have Republicans and Democrats.

So, you take away what you will from guys like John Stewart and any other liberal minded, 'collegiate' and I will continue to listen to under educated, hateful conservative's such as Mark Levin, Brian Sussman, and Mike Huckabee.

Whoa I did not mean to say that you are getting your information from uneducated individuals, I have no idea who or how you get you info. I was simply just saying the differences that I have seen from watching both, didn't mean to be rude or anything.

No hard feelings, I appreciate your opinion
