George W. Bush has saved more lives than any American president?

George W. Bush, not Barack Obama, is the real American hero in Africa.
Take it from me, a liberal Democrat who voted for Obama twice. I know a little about Africa: I have been to the continent 17 times over the last 32 years.

Five million children, women and men have received antiretroviral treatment under PEPFAR. In 2010 alone, 600,000 pregnant mothers received treatment so their newborn children would not be infected.
Yes, millions of people live productive, healthy lives due to Bush 43

With Obama supposedly being all about Kenya perhaps he might have done something like this instead of "Investing" billions of dollars in Green Energy programs that are all going Bankrupt? That will be his legacy...

I really think both of the guys have done a terrible job and not represented the American public...just my opinion though.

Right, left or straight forward or backward it's the same guys running the show, imo

No Doubt G-man... I am just Sick of the worn out Blame Bush for the job Obama Can't seem to do game. How much better off are we "Under" the great Obama??? Not Much, if at all!

Yeah, to think the pres was gonna change the world or country for the better of the common people is delusional at best but with the pharmaceuticals running rampant in the common adults' brain, anything is possible I suppose :D

I just don't see the blame this pres or this pres doing or solving anything. To hold a pres accountable for every single thing that happens while they are in charge is odd, they aren't that superhuman. Good things and bad things have happened under every pres, but the main path traveled remains the same, limit peoples rights and make them pay more for less....

Yep, that is what the biggest media event in history "Hope and Change" amounts to...

This gov't is run by corporations now. Might as well just accept this.. The American people are nothing more than "consumers" now.
It has been this way for some time.....
Doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon either

What really blows my mind is people thinking either one of of the two major parties are anything other than a
bunch of bought off ass kissing hypocrites for corporate America......

Anyone that's been paying attention for the last few decades and believes either
party has real solutions and really gives a rats ass about the American people is definitely smoking way better herb than me....

I meant that statement for every single pres we've had. None of them have provided the change that would make the average person live a better quality of life.

All that it proves when you show how Obama crushed his competition is that THe people were so disappointed with the previous pres that the majority voted for Obama.

If people wanna start boycotting corps they don't agree with, that would be the strongest vote.

Best part is the consumer doesn't even use their capital. They borrow so in essence they are slaves for life...

Figured that much baba G... I was just referencing the latest presidential "Media Show" for the people...

I hear you, but focusing on that is just what they might be wanting...I know you like Bruce Lee, I doubt he would keep pointing the finger at a puppet...alright that was the end of my nastyness, lol

New Sons of Guns today?! I gotta double check but about time! And SoCal 420 I know you have your head screwed on proper but the hate Obama angle doesn't show off your solutions to the problems at hand...

I don't "Hate" Obama, I hate his failure to the American people after all that Obama "Hype" and you are right when you say I am not helping to provide A "Solution" and that is because the only solution to Barack Obama is "Time" and I do not posses the power to manipulate that... ;)

P.S. This post is intended to "Slam" G. W. Bush who is no longer in office or politics at all, the man is history, that can not be changed... The only thing we have control of is tomorrow, so perhaps another "Solution" is to quit living in the past, and "Live" to make A difference tomorrow by not repeating the same mistake?

I concur, he promised a lot and let a lot of people down. Kinda shows how much power he has or will utilize, considering he is young and has a long life dealing with these behind the scenes power players after being pres...
Who will change the way the ball is rolling? Finding someone that isn't sold out and willing to sacrifice a life of riches for the good of the people is a tough one :)
Crazier things have happened though, maybe the country will experience a natural disaster that puts media distortion and product consumption on the back burner. I for one would prefer to see people rebuild after a natural disaster versus a civil war, for one the damage of the disaster would prob be a lot faster than the civil war and people are gonna have a hard time harboring ill feelings towards a natural disaster of sorts....lol

There is my random thought of the day, rofl

All that it proves when you show how Obama crushed his competition is that THe people were so disappointed with the previous pres that the majority voted for Obama.

After taking A second look at this I though I would add that Obama basically "Won" by destroying Hilliary Clinton in the primaries of 2008 and then gave her the "consolation prize" of State Dept. after dragging her through the dirt... Then ran against McCain??? Come on now... That was like giving the guy A "Walk" without even standing at the plate... A Massive Error by the Republican party here...
Mitt Romney almost pulled it off but dropped the ball, all there is to that... The previous president had nothing to do with his "Win" in my opinion, It was all about the "Image" of Barack Obama" that was sold to the American people in 2008 by corporate America and the Media that waayne referred to in post #312...

Obama was selling change from the current administration at that time, imo

plus i dont think alot of republics knew you could vote more than onceo_O
