Morel mushrooms

It is Morel mushroom season and was wondering if anyone has found any. I myself have had zero luck this year.

How do you prepare em'

I would love to learn what to look for. I've never eaten morels, but I love mushrooms.

I just paid $12 for a half pound of those things. I need to learn to find them in the wild! They are amazing.

mmmm mushroom soup! When a forest burned up near here two years back there was a explosion of tourists the second year since every inch of the area that was blackened it seemed exploded with them!

I would have loved to go and pick a few handfuls for the soup pot!:bongsmi:

fav way to cook anyone? mine is dipped in egg then bisquick then sauteed in butter served with steak. if i dont just fill up on them as fast as i can cook them before the steak is done.
