moved a couple of mothers to coco...

i moved two of my mothers that were in an ebb n flow setup into a 1.5 gallon pot filled with 100% fine coco (sun leaves brand)

my question is, will they eventually become root bound and i'll have to step up to bigger pots?

Well eventually everything can become root bound.. What's nice about coco though is the plants really almost like to be root bound in coco.. You can def let those roots fill up that pot.

Yes they will get root bound and you will have to transplant. How big do you want your Mother plant to be? Look into air pots. IMHO they are great for Mom's.
