With that small 1st batch....if you had a hydraulic press with heat, end result looks like it would have been decent from that small amount. Appears its also a bit of plant material throughout.

2nd video or 3rd video appears to be 'ready to smoke' type kief....also plant material in the mix.

What finished product are you looking to end up with?

wondering what the temperature of a hot iron is?
first press looks like rosin,.
the second doesn’t seem to have any melt?
if it’s more trichomes than plant material than you should be able to press it with your hands/fingers,. a lighter will help some but don’t use it much, maybe slide the flame over a few times than try working it into a piece, it’ll either stick together or not but still can be smoked if smokable either way,.
that first piece might be a bit screwed

Sounds good thanks . The first small batch was good and smooth just from a little broken piece I got 4 good hits.

The bigger pile good hits just a little and they both burt from outside to inside, no ash.

I got a very good buzz.

The iron seams to hot a different type of heat than from hot water.
I do hot water next time.

Going to get a 72 or 36 micron sifter .

Looks like time to harvest, YAHOO! Need to get some freezer bags tomorrow.

Whats the verdict all!

I keep an eye , when ready lights off, keep cold, no lights on in morning, harvest and in freezer.

Im not freezing. To much for bubble wash and didn't know bad to dry out aftet freezing.

I try something different. Experiment.

I tried that hand rub just didn't seam work well.

Well.after 2 days drying here is some very sticky bud I'm ripping apart am after the white trichomes that you can see

And actually got a smalll ball going. I do need a different container.

Another day slowly cutting off branches covering the good cola branches.

Going to let her turn some buds to more amber for the wife, so she gets a good sleep after some edibles cookies.

I see mass of white trichomes, just waiting for the right time to collect.

I'm not talking in video's, just showing my experiment of what im doing to collect some white trichomes.

Oh yeah can't forget my Charas!

This is some powerful smoke man, I should of wait for maybe another day or so to see if it gets a little lighter.

Only a little piece many smooth hits.

Today's project....TRICHOMES!!! CHARAS!!! SHAKE!!! for edibles and small chunks of frosted bud to smoke. I'll get some close up pic on those.

I did it ! got some very tanish to white trichomes, I'll get better light in kitchen.

Now I need a 36 and 25 micron sifters.

Slowly chopping her all the little branches open her up i hope for another week after Tuesday to give me 12 weeks of flower .

She is wobble is that coco coir had to tie down and strap her tight she's getting top heavy.

It works good smoke ! the ash not all light silvery gray , more curing.

Collecting more pureer kief , phone works pretty good for close up .

Used freezer this time most, definitely getting smaller micron sifter 35/500 micron.
