I went to get my normal bunch of mixed compost and composted manure but they were out nd I had to get Mushroom manure instead. I mix it with Promix and wondered if any of the old timers had any comments on using one VS the other... or are they about the same? Growing in 5 or 6 gal buckets under HID lighting.
What are your thoughts?

I have heard about mushroom compost, but what is mushroom manure?
Did they feed mushrooms to goats or something?

You shouldn't have any problem replacing composted cow poop with mushroom compost.

Mushroom compost is the best compost there is, and other composts can't compare. If you think all compost is the same, you are wrong and I would bet everything I have that mushroom compost will outperform every other compost and continue to do so over time.
