Okay here I am with a tent 4x4', a 600 watt light , filter on the intake and out take, fans and some awesome genetics. 6 plants and I am still in pre grow.lol I am glad that I like to do things in stages because I had to learn how to hook everything...

Okay here I am with a tent 4x4', a 600 watt light , filter on the intake and out take, fans and some awesome genetics. 6 plants and I am still in pre grow.lol
I am glad that I like to do things in stages because I had to learn how to hook everything up(thank God for this forum and YOU TUBE); getting my tent temp down to 76 normal slight opening in tent to 83 flaps closed.( I am still working on that temp and am adding a better fan to my light 400 cm)
I have read and been told that you really need 1000 watts to get the bud that you really want. So I can buy a 240 watt lcd light or just get a 400 watt gull winger and see what happens. LCD is more expensive . Which one would you use or would you just go for a 1000 watt light in line when flowering?

I would just stick with the 600w in the 4x4 they pull great hauls if done right. 1000w seems better in a 5x5 IMO. If you can keep the environment on point with the 1000w then go for it. Just gotta watch out your plants don't grow into the light. If fixed on going up to 1000w, then definitely get the 400w hps. LEDs are something you have to research extensively on before spending money on them as you can easily be misled by false claims and advertisements. Seen it all too much!

619ster is point on, we see it all the time, people with more equipment than grow experience, it almost always turns out bad. love your aviator, i think, what's that deal in the corner????

Well I learned a lesson tonight. Never start a grow with one light. My 600 watt light stared acting strange. Now I have to wiggle the cord and it will no longer work with my dual timer. So I got it on and I am leaving it on til I can get a replacement. Hope it doesn't take a crap on me before I can get one. I hate going to grow stores they charge the hell out of you. I might have to rather than leave my girls in darkness and ruin my crop. Damn this sucks.....Oh and the picture is of my ex girlfriend she had a thing for penguins and pot. I have her permission to use her as my avatar. Nice isn't she. But she is one stoner chick and can smoke up some weed...lol

Good news !!!! Amazon is sending another one out. YES!!!!! 3/22 or 3/27 . I was doing 18/6 now I will have to leave it on will it hurt my babies?

I'm using 2-600 hps lamps in a four and a half by almost five feet. Not much bigger than yours. And I just wasn't satisfied with the results. With the two lights the plants really grow to their full potential. Go with two sixs you can get them closer to the tops and less heat than a thousand.

I ordered another light 600 watt I will run them both but after this grow I am going to sink some money into a high quality 600 watt light. My friend who grows told me that you can never have enough lights around. Well I am always going to have at least 2. I just hope this light doesn't take a dump on me before the replacement light arrives. I might have to hit the hardware store and get some lights from there. I think it will make it. I hope...:(

Light went out again I having some electronic background began to investigate and found that the cord that plugs the blast into the wall is defective . I fortunately had a plug that works with it. Amazon is shipping me another light out today and I am returning the light I am using now. I am not going to dis the I Power company but I am open to suggestions on high quality lighting and I can use the other light; to add to flowering or as a back up. Now you are probably saying why is this guy who obviously does his home work ask us? Because my life experience has taught me that people who are doing what I want to do are the ones to ask. Suggestions please and price is not even a consideration, quality and Dependability are....

Oh and this entire experience has so far been a challenge and a learning experience (Damn I feel spiritual and its the stuff I took out of the bottom of my grinder ...OOOOOH damn ...lol) My grinder always use it !! I learned that from one of my buddies...OOOOO YESSSS!!!
Jessica when she moved out ripped off my grinder and it was pretty full at the bottom....lol

Just got the munchies and I thought I didn't have anything to eat and what luck I found 3 really nice brownies...What Luck!!! And they are really good ones....:)

This has been one really hectic past few days , The light problem not being able to get the genetics I need. Well I will be growing from seed from now on and skipping all the jerks that I have had to go through to learn how this medical thing works. I have made some mistakes but I am making myself a promise to teach and help anyone that wants to grow cannabis. And not take them down the path that the rego people do , which is full off bullshit . Man cultivated this hardy plant for a long long time without HPS, and CO2 and temp controls etc now if I can just not become a greedy rego person and go back to my hippie roots and not get this shit twisted. No one should have to pay for WEED its should be free!!!!

I am so glad that I have hooked up with some super growers . They have saved my little grow.Ken...AKA The Tiger and Wookie man...No books or videos compare to real life experience.

The two smaller plants need a little boost on the calcium so it was suggested to just use the suggested amount of the Calcium booster in my fert pack and reduce everything else. Top the big girl in 2weeks and get some clones and Flower them babies...lol This is some fire tooo!!!

I am also going to add a 400 watt MH light in the flowering process along with the 600 hps...May the Goddess of Cannabis bless my crop...

I have received some really great instructions from my mentor Tiger. I am to continue my nutrients and in about 2 weeks change to his secret blooming formula which is also organic. My garden is looking much better although I will be using a different brand of nutrients on my next grow. I expect this to be a small (6 ounces tops) yield but it's going to be some real stoner pot. Jack the Ripper , Head Band, and a strand that Tiger grows that is straight up couchlock. It's an indica and I forgot the name...lol

in your pics, the plants seems like they could use an extra bump in the feed department, but other than that they're looking good.

being that this is your first grow and you feel that your comfortable with the nutes that you're currently using, i would suggest finishing out with them than start to experiment with other nutes and nute regimes if the one your currently using doesn't produce the results you like.

OMG I just experienced Alien....:blackalien:. I will be growing some of this fantastic stoner weed..DAMN I am ordering those seeds. I love floating around in my head.....lol Added a carbon filter and a new exhaust van 435cfm ..The old fan I will use to blow air in from the bottom of the tent.
This is really a lot of fun....
