Looks like that reg Biscotti is a boy. Shame. Kicking it out to the porch. It was a bag seed backup plant that grew pretty nice.

I'll probably rip it out of soil by the end of day and use soil to up pot another plant. Maybe give it 1 more day to show pistils on porch.

Green Crack Punch is femized. Got a few small pistils, just starting preflower today. Ramping up the veg nutes and introducing flower nutes.

Moved OG Kush and Critical to flower.

Harvested and dried half my crop, and hit my goal. I smoke an oz about every 10-14 days. Half my crop weighed in at somewhere just over 2 ounces. So total harvest will be around a QP, enough to last 8 weeks until next harvest, without visiting a dispensary. 200 watt light. A little better than 0.5 g per watt. If I didn't smoke it as I go, probably 0.7g per watt.

I'm no expert, but I'm damn good.

Actually switching veg and flower room for a few weeks.

So I can let my veggers grow into goliaths. This 1 is OG Kush x Purple Punch

20231127 103520

I double topped 3 of them... Let it grow until it's like this, then top it again so all those nodal growths become main colas.

Don't be deceived by the soft fur and purrs. This is the biggest danger we face on the journey. Although I can't prove it wasn't a grasshopper who did the terrible topping job last summer, I just know it was you, kitty.

I've had this shake box since I was a teenager somehow (41 years old now).

20231128 100415

I trim sugar leaves over it, let them dry then fill a jar with trim. When full, cut it up with scissors, put back in shake box, and shake. This was a 30 second shake. I'll be shaking it all day 😆

After shake, it goes to a hash jar. I'll accumulate and do bubble hash every few years.

This is a Buddha strain. Never seen this.

20231204 062047

Was topped and has 3 nodes on each branch. Still has cotyledons and... started growing a branch underneath the cotyledons? Only given water so far. 1 gallon pot.

I took the single blade branch as a clone, which is why it's missing.

I found this cool looking fern on a hiking trail. Ripped off a branch, took it home, cut off a clone, and 6 months later...

Pretty Pretty

Started my first hydro grow ever, with a Buddha clone in it... day 4.

5 gallon bucket filled about 1/3.

1 gallon pot filled with expanded clay pellets.

Air stone at bottom, bubbling air 24x7

Water pump pumping water 24x7, with the end of the hose tucked in at bottom of root riot plug. Pumps like 50 gph or something.

2.5 gallons filtered water. 10 ML Clonex clone and seedling nutrients. 1/4 gallon fish water.

Yes, I know. 10 ML of Chemicals. I'll replace them soon. Veg and flower with be organic aerohydro.

I hear cinnamon is good for more than just adding to my coffee

Almost to the winter solstice

2 regular Zkittles. Barely showing preflowers and can't quite sex them yet. Letting them charge up in the sun, on my pool table (that's covered in kid blocks and toys).

Rocking and rolling in the veg room. I bought another light for flowers, but am using it for veg now to catch up my new grow space.

The clones have domes, the rest are seeds or veggies. It's crazy how every now and then you get 1 with crazy vigor. This seed is just blowing 8 others away.

20231212 072130

I started putting my clones straight into soil this round to save $0.50 per clone. It's also easier now that I'm good at this ish. It takes me about 5 minutes per clone: to get soil ready, pot ready, trim it, plant it, and water it. After that, it's basically just wait until it's growing so strong it pushes dome off itself.

20231212 072541

Also solved my humidity dome / seeding and breeding of mature plants issue. Using some fort builder kit I got my kids, and saran wrap, I can breed in my flower space without seeding everything.

20231212 072619

Probably going to give it until the solstice then turn the biggest girls over into flower.

Thanks. I started composting over the winter for my outdoor spring veggies and making additives for my potting soil.

20240208 093414

Taking a couple used tea bags and coffee grinds basically makes a perfect soil hummus.

Then I grind up some egg shells. Chop up some potato peels. All leftovers from food we eat. Orange peels. Onion peels.

I dry it out on cardboard in the sun before adding it to my container.

I add a handful of this to the potting soil, shaking it up vigorously, each time I up-pot, along with 1 tbsp of bone meal, Potash, river silt, epsom salt (unless going to flower) and garden lime.

The potting soil is the depleated soil from previous potted harvests that I froze to reset and shredded old roots within.

It smells surprisingly good. I guess because technically it is food, sun dried organic food. Some people in the world actually eat mud cakes.

The world is a fricken trip ain't it! How it all works.. Lol
