Just the 2 bases. I dont know enough about nutrients to make decisions on what to add. I would love to supplement it though.
No worries! You know enough to go with Gaia 444 and 284! : ) i have access to some of the rock dust stuff and was wondering if I should pick some up. Either way im going to try and grab a little from the store i got my promix from.

They have a basalt rock dust also but this is the stuff I was referring to : )

I was going to start my plants in a few weeks. They go outside in june. Does starting them earlier help them finish a bit quicker? I also want them to be substantial in size when they go out.
What does the extra glacial dust do for the plant? If it don't know what it does it have no right trying to use it.

In my experience, earlier, starting doesn’t translate into earlier finishing! It’s the hours of light and dark that triggers, the flowering, no matter when they were started! You might gain a little size, starting them early! No experience with the rock dust!

Yeah what chucky said! If it were an auto flower it would make a difference : ) but not for photo. There are strains that finish quicker for sure so maybe if you got them started sooner? But a land race is going to landrace well into November whether you started inside in January and go outside in may vs starting it June, of course your size will be affected but the overall “finishing” i dont think so at all.

Thats fair enough on not applying something you don’t know about “hey i found some unicorn pee you need to put it on your plants!!!” 🤣
as far as i know its just extra minerals and trace elements that are good for your plants. helps replenish depleted soils. its not a fertilizer perse but works in conjunction with the nutes you do use : ) I know there is more but thats all I got : )

But you probably have pretty decent soil where youre at dont you? Lots of magic dust already from the area 🤩

So Hindu Kush is a landrace? It's one of my favorites.
Hindu Kush is a mountain range! Where a variety of weed is grown! I’ve found that strains from banks that are called, Durban, poison, Acapulco, gold, Hindu Kush, etc. Are crossed strains that make them more appealing for the modern grower! You have to investigate the lineage! And the supplier! You can get pretty pure strains of those above, but you have to be careful where you’re getting them from!

And jade nectar on YouTube is an awesome site! Shows what is possible with land races, when done right! They are light years ahead of my flailing and fumbling! lol! When you get into Landrace, heirloom, local domesticates! You are leaving the land of guarantees and conformity! It’s all about no guarantees, and flying on a wing and a prayer! But when you get a few going, they will grab you by your heart! There are special!

Can't rush Mother Nature and natural grow cycles outdoors. The reason i don't start seeds for outdoors this early cause i only have one tent and it's being used for another maybe 4 months hopefully less on some photos. So i'll only have space for solo cups and start my seeds in May for June 12th placement in the final 15gal containers.

In my experience, you can go right down on top of them with a T5! About all you can do is see how the plants are acting and adjust the height of the light accordingly! And I like to leave the T5 at a certain height, 12 inches for example, and then raise or lower the individual plants to adjust the different light distance, and see which one works best! That way if one is stretching more than the others you can give it more light intensity by raising it! While leaving the others the same! Just two cents!
