After reading a few treads about cutting and cloning, it seems to me the easiest, fastest and safest way to clone is in coco. So I decided to use plain small clear plastic cups, Canna coco, Power Clone and Liquid Karma with tap water. :sweating

Hello farmers
I just finished taking 6 clones from my Allkusk plant. Here's how I did it.
I've been watering for last 3 days with plain RO and Liquid Karma only to lower the nitrogen in the plant. I soaked the Canna coco in 9 0z beer cups with 5.85 ph/200 ppm in plain water and Liquid Karma for 24 hours.
Here're the pictures. This is my first time taking a clone, so please let me know if I did it right or wrong, lol.
Thank you

The smallest ones are usually like 40 sites or something.

For that few clones, I'd personally just use Rapid Rooters, or Root Riots.

They're really easy, and near impossible to mess up, given you have the proper conditions.

And I've used Dip 'N Grow for all my cloning. It's WAY cheaper than all those cannabis specific cloning stuff, and I've never seen a difference.

I can tesify as well to the success of the cheap easy way...

my first cloning attempt was only 2 months ago and I got about an 85% rooting rate.

I use Rockwool cuts to root and Clonex gel. Thats it. that simple.
First I soak my rockwool cubes in 5.5 ph water

then I use my plant trimmers to cut off a LENGTHY clone, making sure that I take the First cut SEVERAL INCHES under neath a node.

After I take the first "ROUGH" cut, I then take out my medical grade scalpel, and I submerge the cut in Water. once the Cut's bottom is FULLY SUBMERGED in the h2o I use the scalpel and make a diagonal cut.

Then I dip the clones bottom which i just cut directly in the Clonex rooting gel. [ literally only a DIP in the gel then straight into the Rockwool cubes.

Then I place the clones in my clone tray and place the dome cover on. I usually mist spray a bit of water in the domes top before hand which increases the humidity.

Within a few days you should see roots. Once roots appear I slowly start taking the dome off - or open the dome ventilation slots if you have the one I have.

A couple days of slowly increasing the oxygen will allow the plants to final live on their own without the added humidity. Once the plants no longer need the dome they are ready to be transplanted and be grown out

You can tell when your clones are ready to have the dome off completely when they reach for the light and stand upward without ever wilting.

As long as roots appear, you are on the right track.

When you open the dome and then the plant goes from upright and reaching towards the light to wilted and droopy then you know your plant needs to keep the dome on and prop slightly MISTED for a few more days.

IMO the large cloner machines are for people who take ALOT of cuts frequently.. if your like myself, just a interested beginner who has a few strains at a time with a pretty low clone need.. then you can basically just cut clones when needed.

Hope that helped. Any questions ask.

EDIT: DISREGARD ABOVE ^^^ DIDNT SEE THAT IT WAS ALREADY ADDRESSED AND TAKEN CARE OF. GOOD JOB

This is the day 8 of my clones. I have the clones under 600w light and I'm feeding very low A+B, Root Excel, Cannazym, Rhizotonic and spray liquid karma at nights.
I have two part question, is 250 ppm high for clones? and do I cut the yellow lower leafs from the clones?
Thank you

Congratulations in the garden BigJer!
Plants are looking very health & happy with a canopy super even.
And Yes 250 PPM is to high my friend. Start with 100 and keep it for a week, raise 50 PPM a week during the first 2 weeks and then if plants are responding well growing fast you jump to 350/400 at week 3-4.
Good job & have a nice harvest!

Thank you Th3Jungl3Boy. Yes I agree with starting 100ppm and work it up by 50 ppm per week.
Peace
