so my flange adapters are here so i can make a box filter for my tent.

it was not the fan.

im not sure what to think of the freebie they included.. one part of me says cool, other part is like damn iv bought to much shit from them they know what im up too. LOL

its all good. i like freebies.

day 7 1/2, day 1. and one of them seed seems to be stuck, i should pull it off or leave it. also im pretty sure i have two duds. ,meaning i do not think they will grow any more. lol.

so its almost lights out, the #1 baby is at 109grams, 71grams dry.. about 84F zero humid. hah. anyhow... do you think i could let her ride till morning or should i water. i water last night before bed.. just a small splash..
should i do the same tonight, just not sure how much to water.

well its 1:21 AM and I've finally finished my grow tent for my DIY DWS and I'm pretty happy with it, now time to wait for the plants to be ready. Super excited

morning pictures, and im glad i let her ride.. #1 is at 109g, 71g dry.. lasy night it was 109, guess it l ost no moisture during the night.. odd.. anyhow i will water today when she gets to about 80. ill shoot for a 123grams at this young age.. but im glad i did not water last night look at teh stem.. not purple.. hah no over water this time bitches. :D

i have not looked at the seeds yet.. but these two new seedlings are hopeless. look at how poorly they are sprouting.. is this a sign of not enough water? or this is just how it goes.. now why people pop seeds till they get clone.. this is a gamble. hah
never been much of a gambler.

im glad i did not stick a Popsicle stick in there to prop it up when it was leaning.. the stem is getting thick and strong now..

the other one i removed the plastic bag off as soon as the second set of leafs poked up. on the #1 kush, i left the bag for 5 days.. so we see what works better in my environment. 5 days and keeping moist as a baby or removing it and letting her rock with the big girls as soon as possible.

morning day 9, and day 3 for the others.. they all seem like runts.

also i was not sure how dry to let the plant get.. i did not water last night and and i think she was like at a 101g or some shit.. anyhow dismornig she was at 100grams.. normal 72 dry. so i added 23grams of water dismornig.

once it gets better root system then i will let it completely dry out before water like recommend.. anyhow dismornings action shots.

well i have a 50/50 chance of a female.. not sure about the other seedlings they growing so different than the first one that popped.

so we see what happens. i really like this leaf structure.. looks cool to me..

car update:
gas tank is removed. took me two garbage can to remove the pack rat shit that was built up over 15 years.. thankfully they lived every where but inside the cab/engine bay. hah.. evil pack rats.. anyhow.

i have two solder two new wires on for the sending unit etc.. the herb i have sucks and it just did not help me while i was under there. so ill get the tank installed next week.. its half way done. one day at a time just like withdrawls i guess speaking of which it is day 40 and is see the light at the end of the tunnel.. ups and downs im sure but its 100 percent better than just 2 weeks ago.. physically
and mentally. ill let the pictures of my junker talk what i did. well i have started @chickenman

@rmoltis hey dude. so the can fan is in the mail. i need to get the scrubber i remember phresh i think.. so i just need a 400 plush carbon filter for that fan?

Just a flexible ducting tip. Regular Home Depot ducting is not light proof.

There are a few kinds that work. I use sr 2000. It's black coated inside. Also insulated ducting is lightproof. And they make what you show in white too. White makes more sense in a Grow box I think.

Funny. I can see the light coming in my open basement through the return vent next to me. They used regular 6" duct for the furnace here. Lol.

Nice job not propping them up.
If they are weak they will get stronger. If you help them they stay weak

I vent up into the attic without a filter and never smell any thing if the fan is on,It's up above peoples noses. I cut a hole in both off my closets and box it out with 2 by 6s. the wood sets on foam and the fan is spring mounted on springs to keep the vibration down.try running yours without a filter first you may not need one. Humidity and smell go hand in hand some growers use a dehumidifier in their rooms we need a humidifier that struggles to keep the humidity at 30% in our grow areas. My cousin has a basement grow in Pittsburgh Pa.and his setup and needs are not the same as ours.
