Those plugs are rapid rooters. Just dip your cuts on a rooting hormone like clonex and stick the cut end in the hole. I keep a heat pad under the clones and mist the dome. Without roots the cuts need to foliar feed, that's why you need humidity in the dome. Once they root you can slowly remove the dome over time to harden them off.View attachment 698931 View attachment 698932 View attachment 698933
( im open to ideas to make it better if you see a major problem. the one i see is with using zip ties to hold it up using the ratchets.l. not because they wont hold.. but because you lose 2" of space. thank you for looking )

so i made a promise to not worry about clones, and just focus on seeds for now.. however, if i get a clone so be it.
i know #1,#2,#7 are female.
the clone kit came with these root plugs.. now sure how im suppose to use them. do i still need a to use a product like drip in grow or is it already in the little plugs and just add water?
do i mist the clone chamber like i would a zip lock baggy ? the T5 will keep it plenty warm.
thank you.

hey @SimplyCmplex just maybe man.. this one will grow.. i saved this 93 from rotting.. and it grew up with out most its cotyledons in tact.. they were rotting when i saw the tail sticking out facing the light. before i flipped it upside down and covered it with dirt.. i have one more seed to try if this one fails. laughs.. we will get one of these old bitches to do something yet.. or give them hell trying yeah. :D
the blue solo cup is the 93 Afghani.. the two in red cups are Afghani from spliff seeds.

Doesn't it feel good to get some new shit man, always a good moment, just made a new supply list today to buy overtime, I dig the table set up mani was able to get my table cut down. i had to prove my point which i knew i would. so i took a scrap piece of wood cut it in half scarf jointed it, and doweled it.. glued up.. and told them try to break it at the glue joint. once they could not, they approved of cutting my own fucking table. hah.

i popped a 93 Afghani and put it in the 2x2. the fucking thing came up backwards with the tap root reaching for the sky. so i had to flip it around, remove the slimy seed hull that was stuck to the cotyledons but they got wasted so its basically taproot, first set of leafs.. no light so the damn thing was starting to rot,. hah. anyhow, its reaching for the sky now.. we see if it goes anywhere or another dud.
its alive and i think its gonna grow. its taller than yesterday. hah. not by much.. but its the first old seed iv had do anything besides tease me. so im staying positive.

3 months ago i could not of saved that seed or at least try,. i was not mentally capable or had the needed motor skills. pills really do fuck you up it would seem.. im sure not the same person i was.. but damn man.. i have so many brain cells i need to wake up.. laughs.
so im posting because my bother in-law is coming over to help me water tomorrow.. im gonna ask him to help me setup the tent or at least get some of it up.. and finish it up in a week when my help arrives. the problem is iv never set a tent up yet, and he is your typical academic, my sister is the man in the house. hah. or they be paying to have every thing fixed.. i raised her right. be smart and and capable to use your hands.
anyhow, so im posting because i maybe flowering ( next weekend) other wise i would not be.. i can be damn stubborn on shit..
for example i got accused of being a pill popper at a local grocery store, so had to go through bunch of paper work cause a pharmacist judged me. anyhow i will never shop there again. my family look at me like im nuts but whatever.
could you post a picture of your tents please.
( here is my tent as of now, you can even draw using paint. my paint skills are on par with the best, laughs :D stick figures for eva )

Looking good chief....Your gonna have alot of flowers on your hands soon
lets hope so.. iv been vegging these things for months. hah. i dunno man.. something has to go right for me.. so lets hope they flower with out issue.
hope you are doing well.
well looks like my red stems are from cooler weather ( its only on the top half of the petiole. been in the 70s this week.. which is fucking cold for us desert rats.. still gonna transplant them before any deficiencies pop up. hah.
the solo cup is on its death bed. i do not think ill be able to save it with what i have on hand.. basic fert, and some epson salt.. it needs potassium bad. hah.
but hey iv learn a lot about plants from it.. especially feeding the fucker is quite a bitch to feed. hah.
man lets both have a fucking dynamite night.
chris.
iv not used the Epson salt on the larger plants in a long time. yeah, transplanting will help. The red stems can be phosphorous and can be from cold roots but usually under 60 degrees at least.
It also could be the same problem as the potassium. To much calcium and magnesium will lock out the PK. They can only take so much stuff before their roots are clogged by these kinds of salts and metals.
Hope this helps. When in doubt. Water only some. Then less nutes. Then hurry up and wait....
Lol.
