looks like you trained the plants well the manifold at the bottom looks strong and flat sometimes life gets in the way.Hang in there the pain is only temporary .I have some seed testers cumming out of the closet in a few weeks. When the hours are right i just cut off a few branches with balls and put them in a vase with water tilted to the side and let them dump on parchment paper. With the days getting longer not sure if that one would dump pollen in time. The next grow you have going the days will be getting shorter and the males will time right for your females in your flowering tent. Vaping up tonight

osage?

man i have my carbon back 65" reflex/deflex hanging above my window that i made, was the last bow i made.. but yeah man, iv made selfbows, composites, micmacs, yadda. my fav would have to be working with action boo ( sales word in the archery biz. its just vertical grain compressed bamboo flooring, 100.00 a box. hah.. its a good grass to use in traditional bows, and you can charge more with the name action boo as a bowyer.) i think the same skills are required as in growing now i think about it.. go figure ). hah,
what is your draw? i have a 32" drawl. yeah lots of free hp. heh.
very nice bow, so many like minded people on here.. always fantastic to learn new things. heh.

deep breath.. one day at a time i know.

Chris I don't make them anymore my shoulders can't handle the scraping or shooting.

But let me back up....Does it not hurt the roots to stick the bamboo in there?

I have a piece of Osage here somewhere but never did anything with it. I made 1 of Ironwood, 3 Hickory and 1 Ipe back with raw "Boo" lol. I used chicken snake on 1 and rattle snake on 2.

It is amazing to see how many of us have traveled the same roads.

hickory, and action boo and raw moso bamboo is what i used. then i got bored and went to using Gorden glass, and measuring my own stack ( my own recipes.. sorta like in this hobby for teas and hsit. more than one way to skin a cat in building a bow. ) then i got into performance and chasing that FPS and got into carbon, double carbon.. different weaves, hell i even made up my own carbon.. hah.. im such a geek at times..

when i say the same skills require; what i mean is the attention to detail.. when tillering a bow you have to have a good eye, or you get a fucking hinge.

man sucks you hurt your shoulder, the one thing iv not done yet. laughs.. im sure it would of happen the way i was going..

as for hurting the roots.. maybe if it was root bound. but you may cut a few feeder roots off the secondary roots, but i doubt that would do much harm.. plus the bambo sticks are size of a arrow id imagine. maybe a bit bigger?

juts guessing here tho.

I tore both rotater cuffs. I shot compounds for many years right handed and as much as 6 nights a week in competition. But I am left eye dominant and without the use of sights I shot the selfbows a lot more accurate left handed.

Yeah pretty close to an arrow shaft. I picked up some rubber bands tonight and may pull some branches closer to the light.

i walked down the road today again. hopefully i can rehab it now my good leg is finally sorta healing. hah. anyhow, going down any grade in the road hurts, so what i did was sit in the walker and just give a push with my good leg, and then as i roll down the little decline, i use the hand breaks to steer. kiddie roller coaster.

we do not mow the yards here more like wait for a rain, and maybe rake once in a while :D

its hot as hell out there fyi! hah.

You're giving yourself some free physical therapy! Keep it up. Gotta work those muscles or they atrophy. You better take a clone of the afghans before you flower. You might be bringing back some old school dank. I'm thinking I'm going to grow less plants from now on so I can keep my legal limit and still keep a clone of each before flower just in case one turns out to be a killer pheno.

male getting tossed. i thought it still had a cool vibe going.. reaching for the sun!

they got there last stretch on last night with the food i feed them i hope.. i have 5" before its bottoms out against the cancan fan, and i can not move it up any further.

my male is living off the ambient light of the T5, and still pimping.

bowl up,

i just noticed something while trying to dial in the temp that is comfortable to my plants and my self.

i have them set to come on at 6pm and go off at 6am,
but what im feeling is the a;/c has a harder time keeping it cold right now.. working double time..

if i would switch it so it was lights on during the day i would have much more control over the heat.

right now temps are 75 to 86f constant ( was 60s in there for a few lights out while i fucked with a/c temp.. hell i have to wear a flannel in side now because of these fucking plants, laughs ). just a random thought. laughs.

my plants are alive, so what the fuck.. i will get bamboo stakes this weekend and open the branches up so the buds can get more light.

chris.

I would make yourself comfortable if your fanning them and moving enough air.Do you have a swamp cooler?100* or less my plants seem to do better using the cooler rather than the AC,they bring the humidity up a bit
