osage?Looking good Brother, I hope the pain lets up soon for you
Here is a couple I made
yeah, im trying. just the closer it gets to next week the more my mind goes to what if.. and why do i bother. heh. depression state does not help that way of thinking. i have been learning to help with depression.. but fuck you can only do that so much before shit gets all mixed up.. like last night i mention my plants where getting K+ from my tea.. because of that bat shit, well i meant P..looks like you trained the plants well the manifold at the bottom looks strong and flat sometimes life gets in the way.Hang in there the pain is only temporary .I have some seed testers cumming out of the closet in a few weeks. When the hours are right i just cut off a few branches with balls and put them in a vase with water tilted to the side and let them dump on parchment paper. With the days getting longer not sure if that one would dump pollen in time. The next grow you have going the days will be getting shorter and the males will time right for your females in your flowering tent. Vaping up tonight
I have a piece of Osage here somewhere but never did anything with it. I made 1 of Ironwood, 3 Hickory and 1 Ipe back with raw "Boo" lol. I used chicken snake on 1 and rattle snake on 2.osage?
man i have my carbon back 65" reflex/deflex hanging above my window that i made, was the last bow i made.. but yeah man, iv made selfbows, composites, micmacs, yadda. my fav would have to be working with action boo ( sales word in the archery biz. its just vertical grain compressed bamboo flooring, 100.00 a box. hah.. its a good grass to use in traditional bows, and you can charge more with the name action boo as a bowyer.) i think the same skills are required as in growing now i think about it.. go figure ). hah,
what is your draw? i have a 32" drawl. yeah lots of free hp. heh.
very nice bow, so many like minded people on here.. always fantastic to learn new things. heh.
chris.
Chris I don't make them anymore my shoulders can't handle the scraping or shooting.
But let me back up....Does it not hurt the roots to stick the bamboo in there?[/QUOTE

It is amazing to see how many of us have traveled the same roads.
I never did anything but hunt with the ones I madehickory, and action boo and raw moso bamboo is what i used. then i got bored and went to using Gorden glass, and measuring my own stack ( my own recipes.. sorta like in this hobby for teas and hsit. more than one way to skin a cat in building a bow. ) then i got into performance and chasing that FPS and got into carbon, double carbon.. different weaves, hell i even made up my own carbon.. hah.. im such a geek at times..
I tore both rotater cuffs. I shot compounds for many years right handed and as much as 6 nights a week in competition. But I am left eye dominant and without the use of sights I shot the selfbows a lot more accurate left handed.man sucks you hurt your shoulder, the one thing iv not done yet. laughs.. im sure it would of happen the way i was going.
Yeah pretty close to an arrow shaft. I picked up some rubber bands tonight and may pull some branches closer to the light.as for hurting the roots.. maybe if it was root bound. but you may cut a few feeder roots off the secondary roots, but i doubt that would do much harm.. plus the bambo sticks are size of a arrow id imagine. maybe a bit bigger?
Pretty cool bro!Looking good Brother, I hope the pain lets up soon for you

Damn bro, I haven't been able to keep up in here but damn! You got a nice little jungle going! I hope you get mobile soon, good vibes! In know it's gotta be tough being cooped up. I'll smoke a nice fat salad joint of spliffs strawberry and holy grail kush to you getting better bro! Joint up lolhickory, and action boo and raw moso bamboo is what i used. then i got bored and went to using Gorden glass, and measuring my own stack ( my own recipes.. sorta like in this hobby for teas and hsit. more than one way to skin a cat in building a bow. ) then i got into performance and chasing that FPS and got into carbon, double carbon.. different weaves, hell i even made up my own carbon.. hah.. im such a geek at times..
when i say the same skills require; what i mean is the attention to detail.. when tillering a bow you have to have a good eye, or you get a fucking hinge.

juts guessing here tho.
chris.
Let us know how it works, that cheap little scope from Radio Shack is tough to use.The Critical Kush should Finish is 7-9 weeks most it seems right about 8 weeks. Mine has 20 days in so hopefully I only have about 46 or so to go on it. I ordered a 40 to 1000x Magnification Endoscope camera today that should hook up to my tablet and phone to see them trichs better. Was only $20
hey no problem ask away. im not sure i follow you on time tho.
so lights on at 2pm lets say, and you can not do anything with your plants until 5 correct? if so just water/nute then at lights on.. h ell that what i do.
maybe im not thinking this through very well, shock.
hope you are doing well man.

i walked down the road today again. hopefully i can rehab it now my good leg is finally sorta healing. hah. anyhow, going down any grade in the road hurts, so what i did was sit in the walker and just give a push with my good leg, and then as i roll down the little decline, i use the hand breaks to steer. kiddie roller coaster.
