71 grams dry, 136grams wet with 50ml water,

seems like not enough water.. but i figure 50ml is close to a shot glass.
unfortunately there are only four seeds planted.. i drop one, and of course when i came up i could not remember which cup i had put the last seed in. hah.. was simpler to get a new cup that fight with it, ill let them pop up and tell me which ones have seeds.

chris.

Do you have drainage holes in those cups?

And they need more water than a shot. But as long as you keep the soil only moist. Not wet or soaked the roots will grow. And not all dried up either.

Some just mist the soil with a spray bottle. I water to runoff and then don't water again til very dry. Many methods work. Don't stress on little things too much if you can.

I am very excited for you Chris! I will be watching.

71 grams dry, 187 grams wet with 100ml water,
they are much happier now.. they were just to dry before.

now they can sweat in the plastic bag.

chris.
First mistake a newbie makes is over watering! Every new grower doesnt understand that your little seedling isnt gonna drink 1ml of water in the first week. You will lose 10x that to relative humidity. Thats why you put the bag over it, i understand... Take the bag off after they top ground tho...
Dont over think this. U could prob poured half a solo cup thru there stuck them under a cfl, and left for a week and came back to a beauty... When someone say dont over water them, they dont mean, dont pour 10 gals thru it, they mean dont give it water every day. Its important that you let the soil dry out in between waterings to promote root growth,
Like the titanic you need to be more concerned about what you cant see, instead of what you can...
just my 2 cents brother!

Lol bro, simply "WOOOSAAAAAH"!

Ok? The hard part is nearly complete. It's merely a waiting game now. Only thing you have to do now is make sure soil stays moist which should easily be a week or more, and *important here* make sure the seed coat AND the membrane is ejected from around the cotyledons in a timely manner!!

Easy Peasy! You got this

Yes i hate seedling stage... I dont know anybody that cares much for it tho... Long and uneventful and you cant go out drinking with a newborn.. I mean for the first year your just trapped... Oh my bad got off on another subject.. Took hit off bong,, we are good now,,, back to my point!
I have seen seasoned growers lose some seedlings just to what ever,, weather just neglect, or janky seeds, or cold temps or them situation u dont know what the fuck happened, we will just call it aliens for a lack of better description....

Oh and good luck.. U know im your brother in this struggle! I want you to succeed as much as i want to succeed myself... Im not a professional by any sense of the word, but i do have a pretty good understanding of things, and honestly the person that taught me, and still does, requested that i pay it forward when that day came... So my lil bit of experience i give to help the newbies get started.. That way the big guys just have to take the time when we have to ask them for advice outside of our pay grade... And i ask them questions ALOT!

Little tip is to use sandwich size ziplok bags as humidity domes for those solo cups. They let a little air in around the edges but keep the humidity in. The best advice I can give you now is k.i.s.s don't try to do every method and technique you've read about all at once or you will end up here

:cry::cry:
As much as you want to do something or open the tent a million times right now from excitement, do .....nothing. That's right, less is more right now. They have soil, they have water. They just need time. Its really going to be hard to not mess with them but you will be rewarded for being lazy right now haha. Ask @EventHorizan how many times he had to tell me to leave my plants alone before I listened

OK I apologize bro, no more clutter from me in your grow journal. It's your first time, gotta do this right. But man that seedling training pic...whew..!

here is my advice... Dont lst them... just grow them out and when we get 7 nodes on all of them, we will top down to right above the 3rd node, and we will take that top (clone) and we will root it in 12/12 light under 1 cfl bulb.. They wont really root, but they will sex, and we will know which ones are female,, by then we can 2 more cutting from the very bottom and we will root them in 24/7 under that same cfl, and then flip the females... when your females are harvested, your cutting will have rooted, and been topped twice, and ready for flower. 5 months i will get you 2 harvest with this technique!
