do containers,,i have tomatoe and peppers, citronella and lemon grass in containers,,with tomato you have to water twice a day,,the buckets get hot,,if you insalate them you want have too,,my plan for the spring season for sure,,also have problem from light getting into my self watering buckets,,i have to change and clean once a week,,the sun brings fungus in the res,,with insulation around them that will stop that problem ,i hope anyway

do you have any ears? i see the male coming out to polinate the tassles,,but dont see tassles,,here is a tip,,once the male polline drops down on the tassles, give it about 3 days and then you can spray neem on the tassles to keep corn worms out your ears,,another tip, when you plant corn, plant seed 2in deep,,this will make stronger stalks and when it comes down pours or high winds the stalk will stand back up,,if you plant to shallow the corn will lay down and you have to train it back up,,thats why you see a lot of corn laying over on it side after a rain storm

also by the right depth at seed and catching the polline after it hits the tassles, make longer cobs and more corn ,,main thing is to prevent the corn worm,,he will eat all your kernals

bet you cant wait for the eclipse out there in the desert,,been a lot of flash flooding around that area
thanks for the reminder. yeah man should be good.. will be fun.

"In less than a month, on August 21, the sun will disappear across America.
For a swath of the country from Portland, Oregon, to Charleston, South Carolina, it will look like someone just turned off the sun in the middle of the day.
Fourteen states across the US will experience about two minutes of darkness as the eclipse crosses from coast to coast between 10:15 a.m. Pacific Time in Oregon until about 2:45 p.m. Eastern Time in South Carolina."

black hole sun probably more appropriate but whatever on a smash mouth kick atm. heh

both mamas kness are titanium,,she cant get to the garden ,but loves growing,,so im gonna do her about 15 buckets behind the house here,,grow al the small stuff and do all the vines and corn ,potatoe, watermelon ,canaloupe down in the big garden,,work out cool as shit too,,the roof above is also the main house deck,,i will be able to put shade cloth from deck edge over to my fence and keep them cool ,especailly this time of year,,take al that soil your dumping and get some happy frog soil conditoner and grow veggies were you want them,,thing about containers ,is you can adapt and overcome by just moving them if you dig what im saying,,but as i mentioned befor insulate the buckets outside,,doesnt matter what color they are ,they will bake in the sun, simply because there above ground,,i got some rv insulation, its shiny chrome looking stuff,,the layer inside is bubbles and then has finish side,,stuff works great,,i even have it in some of my exterior walls,,were i put osb anchored into cender block a nd sheetrocked this basement,,thickness is 1/4 in ,wraps right around the bucket like cloth,,and you can lift the 5 gal buckets right out of it if you have to move them,,think the r rating is like 9 or 10 but looks great and does the job
