Good luck on your first grow. The most common first mistake over fertilization (what i did on the first grow) but if something looks wrong with your plants give them a flush through as alot of pictures of disease ect look very much alike and over fertilization opens plants up to disease and pests too so a flush is always a good idea as it doesn't do any harm. Also flush two weeks before the chop. If you have a 5 gal pot flush 15gals through. The second common mistake is over watering. I just tend to pick up the pots and if it's light in one hand I water.

Obviously this is advice for pot plants so if your doing hydro or airoponics ignore.
