I hope Im not speaking too soon but this growing lark seems pretty effortless so far. All I'm doing is making sure the tank has fresh nutrient mix once a week and move the lamp up as the plant grows

Looks like your lady is doing super. When you pay attention to the important stuff and pay attention to what your ladies tell you growing can be mostly effortless if you have decent control of your environment. Did you keep a clone or two ?

good stuff, man. love those bold leaves. theres a picture of purple pineberry in jorges grow bible... in the back where the bud porn is. i just saw it when i was on the toilet :D anyhow, it was outdoor, and the trees behind it were yellow, leading me to believe that the one in that pic was left longer than what your seed pack is saying. might have something to do with the leaves being purple... and they ARE, dude. ive heard that dropping temps can trigger that, too... any plans to try to purple it out?

I don't have space to keep a mother plant but I still have three seeds left.
As for the purpling I think I will try and let her do her own thing as I can't drop the temps in my bedroom

You dont have to keep a mother to have clones my good man. I just keep a couple 4-5 node trimmings from the training / lower clean out process. Mostly because even femized seeds are not always a girl when they are born.

Finish her a bit longer and hit her with a lil cold temps; if you got the right pheno she'll turn purple and wreak of piss vomit and dank(literally). haha the canadians got this shit on lock during the outdoor season. Take it easy

hey slick, lookin good man. i had purple pineberry in my last grow, i only had 1 ppb in amongst a load of other strains, it was a treat to grow and looked identicle to yours. 60 days i chopped mine at, it was no where near ready in 45 days. the yeild was below average. at first i thought it was a very bland smoke but after about 4 weeks curing the berry taste came through strong. lots of dense little crystaly buds.

Still sounds like a bit too much effort, besides I'm building up quite a backlog of different flavour seeds queing up to be popped.

Seems a lot of people doing this one outdoors, even the promotion photos are of the same plant outside

Looks like we're gonna go well past the 45 day mark before the chop.
Buds quite skinny but firm, hope they fatten up a bit more :sweating

Looking really good brother. Waiting a bit more is never a bad idea. Soma says when you think they are ready wait another week.

Few more brown hairs happening now, but don't see much purple.
Didn't seem to drink as much last week either.
Thinking of doing one more week with nutrients before switching to plain water and 10k bulb for final week

Sounds like you and me got the same pheno.
Just over 4oz and smokes ok, nothing special though, maybe a few more days curing should improve quality. At least I grew this myself and don't have to buy dodgy weed from dodgy dealers for a while :joint::stonedsmilie:
