Welcome to the shit show folks! Just came across this site I am 60 days in and well the struggle is real!

Pretty much I had no plan threw some beans in the soil and went freestyle! No feeding schedule just winging it and well so I have 2 plants that are 60 days old and looking rough.

I have 3 others that are 45 days old

1 that is 30 days

1 that is 15 days

I have been primarily using Reddit and YouTube for research

I’m in central texas
Soil - Happy Frog/Strawberry Fields/Perlite
Various container sizes
Nutes - Fox Farm Trio, Cal Mag
Multiple Strains -
Atlas seeds - Face Fat
Barney Farm - Pine Apple express
2 - Bagseed that turned out to be autos
2 Fast Buds GorillaZ
Multiverse Beans - Dark Matter

The 2 that are 60 days I have burned pretty good and gave them a flush yesterday.

Things I have learned so far!

Don’t use the crappy black nursery pots that get way way way to hot and I can only imagine my roots are cooking each day.

I’m pretty much over using nutes I just feel like I’m guessing ( Looking into living soil for next round)

Continuinly letting your pots get bone dry is no bueno

The heat and humidity make it feel like I am constantly at war over to water or not water.

More planning More organization smaller garden ( I have about 20 other vegetable/pollinators as well)

Reddit - is toxic as fuck and people are assholes

I think I would enjoy indoor gardening more.

Pic 1 Bagseed 1 57 days
Pic 2 Bagseed 2 57 days

Will update more with other plants.
I really need some help to bring these guys home. Once they are finished up I plan to start working on indoor setup.

Welcome! Doesn’t look too bad! You can try wrapping the pots in something lighter, colored or more reflective as long as you don’t cover up the drain holes! Don’t know about the yellowing! Maybe some kind of mobile, nutrient problem! Looks a little early for this, but outdoors when you get into late flower, the plants like to suck the life out of old shade leaves! Or quit supporting them!

Howdy and welcome to the neighborhood. I’m with @Oldchucky about your pots. I literally wrapped my in printer paper with some tape and the soil temp has been dang near perfect but I’m also in ole Virginny so it’s not as hot and humid here yet. I’m not a fan of nutes. This year I did a soil parfait (SF on bottom, OF in middle, and HF on top) and they’ve been doing well. I water with rain water from my rain barrel collector. As far as the yellowing it could be natural since it’s in flower. Good luck!

I for sure upset her. Yesterday I flushed with sledgehammer. Once dries out I will come back at 25% str.

Aside from the shit show with nutes. I’m on day 10 of 95+ degrees. They got severely dry multiple times.

Yeah, watering can be a delicate balancing act! But they come back from being overly dry a lot quicker than being over watered!

Started practicing with LST since I know that will be important for the Tent grow.

This is Dark Matter - Day 30

Was just checking over my plants. I am finding tiny little white worms burrowing into the buds. I have been finding moths on this plant.

Will take phone next time I go to the garden and grab a picture if I find more.

Also on this same plant I am battling grasshoppers. These guys really need at least 3-5 more weeks.

Oh shit! You could pick up some Monterey with BT and start spraying, but it may be too late! Spraying flowers is a bummer but a lot of people do it as an act of desperation! Or whatever you can find that has BT!

Yeah I really don’t want to spray flower I’m gonna be smoking. I’m gonna keep hand pulling them.

Although we just had 80mph winds pass through so waiting to go and see what wonderful catastrophe Mother Nature is throwing at me.

Yeah, she might have taken care of the whole kit and caboodle for you! Keep your eye on the buds and look for dead spots! Where they have gotten in. Their excrement causes problems!

Good news was only tomatoes were blown over but no real damage.

Starting to try and finalize my grow tent. I have been driving myself crazy trying to pick a light.

Dark Matter - plant is loving LST

pic of grow tent location - will be using a window unit to cool the tent.

Just sharing a pic of my bell pepper plant

Face Fat - Look forward to an indoor attempt with this guy. Her trichrome production is 3 times more visible than all other plants I have.

South or eastTexas humidity will be a challenge to finish in. Had those issues when living on the coast in California. Bud rot got half the crop. I with you on moving it indoor though. Easier to control the environment. My personal choice was moving to a friendlier environment. Still gets to hot!

Just a photo drop of the garden.

Battling caterpillars and grasshoppers.

Caterpillars at least went for broccoli first. So next year I will add more Broccoli for pest control.

Make sure you black out the backyard or wherever the plants are as much as possible! That will go along way in controlling caterpillars! Let your neighbors lights attract the moths! People that are scared of the dark, get murdered by caterpillars!🍻

Thank you for the advice!!! I have been coming out at midnight and pulling the little mofos off.

I can for sure make it darker where the plants are.

I’ve known guys that live in cat country! And it did make a big difference for them! Something that’s that simple!

Well been working away. This week some type of giant green worms wrecked havoc along with grasshoppers. They are just mowing down any new growth.

My 2 big girls well they still look like hell and back but the buds have been fattening up.

It is getting hotter by the day. For the past few days the low has been 80F. The next week is high 90s with feels like temps 100-108f

Pretty much every plant has some sort of issue. At this point there is just to many variables and I can’t really fix any of them.

So the last picture is what I will be doing next.

For what it’s worth, that fourth to the last pick looks like leaf miners! I’ll bet that tent looks mighty sweet!😂🍻
