So the other morning I had a little scare. I was waiting for my light to come on and it never did. When I checked the led status indicator on my gavita was blinking orange. I unplugged it and it's worked fine ever since but just in case I put my old light in there too. That way I'm prepared if I need it. I might leave them both on and see how my temps look. If it's not out of control I may leave them both on. The led may compliment the gavita in a good way. It's a "1500 watt" (268 watt really) but it has uv and ir so it may help in some way. I'll see how it goes. I'm guessing it will be too hot with both of them on.

This isn't really related to this grow, but I'm excited about it nonetheless. I got this to try on my next grow. It was a free sample. The damn thing weighs 16 lbs! And it comes with 8 different bottles. Seems like a little much and kinda complicated, but oh well. All I had to pay was cost of shipping so I think it's worth a shot.

as always be diligent scanning for nanners with sour d especially mid to late flower stages. Keep a keen eye they are very stealthy at times.

Thanks for the tip! How do you take care of them? Just grab some tweezers and pluck them off?

I would suggest getting a spray bottle of plain water and spritz the area with some misting water and then pluck with your fingers. The prewetting helps deactivate any pollen that may be there. Be sure to wet your fingers when you pinch the next ones off.

They are absolute pricks of things those nanners .just about ruined all my plants earlier this year. They were all bitches and were going beautifully .i never spent as much time as i normally do postitioning the branches pulling out weeds etc,and just sitting there sharing a joint with them.i did see these small yellow dead areas and didnt take too much notice.i slackened off because ive never had it before..they were about 3 weeks into flower ,so i decided,..bugger it i'll let it go and get the seed out at end..haaaa..yeah..i'll never do that again.so time consuming

Ok I'm looking for some input here, if anyone can help... The tops of my plants look pretty good. I had what I thought was nute burn, but I'm a newb so who knows?

Well, down below I got dying leaves and yellowing. Is this something to worry about? I have given just distilled water with Cal mag the last 2 waterings. here's some pics...

Now some prettier pics...

Lower leaves over time have given all they can, now that the top canopy shades it, it’s cannot photosynthesis and is self consuming. I’d just pluck them. They aren’t doing much. But be diligent and keep an eye on upper leaves to see if any signs of deficiencies and or over feeding symptoms show. But they look healthy and reading through, it’s seems U have a good handle on things mate.
Cheers and happy growing ! Sour d will stretch and grow like crazy! Watch the humidity and temps. She is a is a temperamental b! And those nanners , yea they do tend to happen. But if caught and plucked. You will be ok! Great choice on the first attempt ! Make a few cuttings for next cycle! She clones well, 3weeks into flower, Lower shoots root fast.

That puts my mind at ease a little bit. Thanks for taking the time to reply. It's very much appreciated! And I will have to read up more on cloning. I've been debating on trying it out or not. I may give it a shot.

My two white widow and two purple kush.

Right now 2 white widow and 2 purple kush. I don't keep a journal, as far as when to harvest I watch the pistals and tricombs they will tell you when to harvest, depending on your buzz.

Good luck man. I'm excited, this will be the first time I will know what strain I am smoking. Where I'm from, everything I get is just called weed lol

Day 20 since flip... The runt pretty much caught up. The fox farm plant is still the biggest by only a couple inches or less. It has nearly tripled in height since flip to flower. However I believe the mega crop plant is fattening up faster. But it also has very light colored tips, which could mean it is close to nute burn?? Some more pics ;)

I started my seeds in some jiffy pellets. Once sprouted, I moved them to a solo cup with good drainage.

Don’t worry about those lowers. I pluck em off when they look like that. They’ll die off n be organic chit to draw bugs on top of soil. But your plants looking good. How far along. Sour d is nice too at end. I got some blotto ogk going (e.c. sour d x legend ogk) ran crop king sour d had nice colas.
You ph everything right? Some distilled water has a ph of high 5s.
