My first grow is in cocoloco

The new tent is set. A few odd ball needs should be arriving today. Uhhhh the removable driver cable, purple cow seed starter, timer/power strip. I'm going room parameters on this grow since she will be in my bedroom. No humidifier so will be double careful on the watering dry back.
Got in the tent and had the wife zip me in, found with no filter the 6" exhaust fan let's in light. Put the pre filter over where the carbon filter would be and it's good.

I have the Apollo seed soaking since last night. When I'm preparing the pot I'm going to put a hole in the middle top of the soil big enough to burry a solo cup and fill the hole with seed starter. Then I'll put the popped seed in that so I won't have to transplant.

That's a 2x2.5' tent with a target spectrum 220w. It's just a small version of my big 5x5 tent. Have a cute fan that rotates up and down as well as back and forth. I mounted a 6in exhaust fan on top of the tent because 6' seems small as I'm looking at it.

I'm going to have to top and train....maybe get a scrog net for this one I think.

I'm very excited to get the auto grow fully under way!

Nice 1 love the setup. I've had great and not so great auto grows. But mostly good ones. You just gotta learn from experience with them. You can get very good harvests and decent potency. I've just not achived that high yet like i get from indoor photoperiods. I've not purchased expensive auto seeds just grown what my friends have given me that they make. Good luck fella enjoy the journey

Thank you. I'm excited see how it grows. @Sunin suggested an untopped grow for learning purpose and that's a fantastic idea for a first grow on a potentially fragile or finicky plant. Also the super soil really should help put me on track for something easy. Maybe.

I've got the fan running on low. The white noise is alright.

I'm starting to be able to see the frost with no zoom in in some spots.

In the bedroom perfume tent:

Failure on 2 F1s. Apollo. How frustrating. I dropped 3 of these northern lights promo seeds into a cup of to water in hopes just 1 pops. Jeez. I just want a smelly plant in my room. I did that this morning after 48 hours of Apollo seed #2 soaking with no signs of a tap root. Lame!

I used a local seed bank on my GDPs and those had a tap root under 24 hours and in 48 they were ready for the dirt with a tap root that was probably 1/2". Is that a more normal time frame? I guess I'll stay local until they do me wrong.

Maybe I'm jumping the gun and seed #2 is going to sprout and Apollo will show me something. I'm not holding my breath about it.

This gives me time to help give my organics in the small tent a kick in the pants before it hosts plant. I'm going to brew 2 gallons of my roots organic terp tea grow for 48 hours with air stone in bucket then adding to the soil. Hopefully this happens just a bit before I drop my newly sprouted seed into the pot so I will have very bioactive super soil to help feed my little auto all it wants!

In the big tent:

Week 4 of flower and every lady has started making some fat buds. I picked up a bloom booster to complete my roots organic set. They have all had a single feeding of booster and of course had been getting bloom. I was advised to keep using bloom as well until about week 8 then just booster is then harvest.

I can't even take efficient pics because I get so excited when I'm looking at these buds and I'm saying oh you look good so I take pic, and you look good so I take a pic, and you look good so I take a pic and then I've got 40 pics and I don't remember which plant they are and, and, annnnnnnnnnd I'm always really stoned by the time I get to poking around on here so I can't remember a bunch. I will usually start out with something specific I want to note but by the time I got my phone out and the thread open........uhhhhhh......so yeah week 4 of flower and all the ladies are making fat buds.

I have sooo many fruit flys in a pot. I also saw a spider trying to move in. As much as I don't like to I squished it because it did not ask to be where it was. Can't tolerate that. The flies get some glue traps but I have to actually go get them so that is going to happen...probably. I got this plate full of rolling papers and ground flower singing it's beautiful siren song of a day off full of stoned naps. Time to twist one and finish watering the big pots.

I'm so excited. I've never grown my own before.

I am just soaking (appears also from them as zamnesia is the same as RQS) two F1

Im not sure if this would affect potency or the final product in general, but i had a really annoying gnat problem in my house with my girlfriends potted plants. I went out and bought some neem oil, sprayed the flying fuck out of the soil in every pot, and within about a week i noticed the flies had all died off

I really like hearing from others that it's looking good because my fuck ups are always glaring to me. Also my paranoia of ruining everything. Makes me cautious.

It worked perfectly fine for the regular potted plants in the house, but i havent used it on the soil for flowering buds so yea definitely look into that before doin it to these plants hahaha id hate to give you any advice that can hurt those beautiful ladies

Perfume tent update:

So I got the Apollos in the pic. Still no change after 48 hours of soak. The pic with 2 seed are the Apollo. The pic of the 2 seeds resting close together is yesterday morning. The other pic of the 2 seeds is just a minute ago. The pic with 3 seeds is the northern lights promo seeds. They have popped and are extending a tap root. This reaffirms that I fully understand what SHOULD happen when soaking a seed.

I guess I should take it as more of a milestone because those are officially my first duds!

I prime my soil mith my tea to jump start the microbes today and tomorrow I will put a germinated seed into the pot.

On an side note I'm making preparations for the big tents next grow. My ultimate goal on that has been a hydro set up. I'm acquiring the parts slowly. Small details were yet to be decided on before I could get specific components but now that is all squared away. I'm super excited to build it and could do a step by step for any interested. I think having a small organic tent and a big hydro tent could be a good split. Do some fun side by side comparison grows after I have a supply in my closet deep enough to keep the wife and I out of the dispensary.

My plan was just a single plant in the perfume tent. I'm not very good with sticking to my plans. I mean sometimes. Budgets I have no choice because I can't spend what I don't have. Simple.

So the perfume tent is now x2. Because why not. I germinated 3 of the NL autos and 3 have tap roots. I happen to have a half a big bag of cocoloco from my photo grow and I have another 7 gallon pot. Wtf? It fits good. Autos are small, yeah? Let's see what happens with 2! The 3rd is probably going to get a spot out in the greenhouse in yet to be determined media because I'm about out of potting stuff. I will probably plant the seeds tomorrow morning or maybe after work.

I was watering this morning and these nugs caught my eye. They are each just larger than the diameter of my thumb which makes them slightly smaller than golf balls. (Legit my wedding ring is size 14). There are larger ones but these are looking fine I thought.
