My first hydro run part deux: flowering

Hey guys. My last thread wasn't getting much feedback so I decied to make a flowering thread and maybe I'll get a little more feedback!!! This is my first run in water so i dont really have any idea whats going on...but it looks good I think:character0029::character0029:

Haha so my ppm is still 500. My plants have been loving it and the one time I tried boosting the ppms my girls only started drinking water and the ppms rocketed through the roof.


I changed out the chicken wire for this green plastic screen. It's a lot nicer on the leaves and has bigger holes

Under a 250w hps, 2 island sweet skunk cuts in an 18 gallon tote.

They are on day 4 of 12/12!!!

Yea man. I have a 400cfm inline that pulls through a scrubber into attic, with passive air intake from my living room. The ducting from living room blows right onto the plants, as well as another fan that constantly blows on the canopy

I am not running a chiller. I drop frozen water bottles occasionally in, the water temps are never over 70. I run zone pretty aggressively

That looks nice, have you raised the ppm yet in bloom?

Not really....I think the next res change I'm gonna try to get into the 600s. Keeping it low has been great

ppm are low in hydro you are doing the right thing

Updates...looking good, I'm gonna change nutrient solution today and up ppms a little

I trained the main colas to the backside of the garden. I wish I would've kept them in the middle to get more direct light...I tucked them 1 too many times

Hey just from experience you might want to cover the top of your pots so that what you don't get any nastiness in the res like algae growth...

Thx guys. PPMs were 520 yesterday but dropped 20 over night. Does that mean my planties ate 20ppm?

Any ideas on what I should do with a 5.5ftx5.5x8 closet?? Vert?? UC?? RDWC?? Let me know!!!

Plant are doing great (if anyone was wondering). It's weird...my tops seemed to have stopped stretching last week, but the rest of the branches still seem to be stretching! This is my first run with this cut, its very vigorous and definitely a fat yielder. I think I'm gonna run a 600 V-Scrog next run...Pics soon

Thanks man. I upgraded to a 600!!! Will be here on Friday in a cool tube. How much will this help my yield? I'll take new pics soon...like 30 mins lol

It's day 24 i think. The first 2 pics are unaltered, the last ones I played with on my photo editing app. I'm pretty stoned and it looked sweet. I have a 600 cool tube on the way...what kinda boost can I expect in yield?
