Hi all, i just decided to do my first grow, and was wondering if i should post it online :p
I have read a lot of information and still going, thoughts on the grow is greatly appreciated.

Edit: can't post direct pictures? (from PhotoBucket)

Specs:
> Some bagseed from a Greenhouse grow (i think lol)
> Growing in an old speaker cabinet
> 2x 20 watt CFL lights
> 5 plants ATM, going to select the best growing and half it until on 1 (maybe 2)
> 3 PC fans (intake, regulating through the box, exhaust)
> Took some soil out my dads garden lol
> one plant is in potting soil

I'm growing mostly natural, don't wan't to spend too much.

Grow Box:
just attaching images until i figure out how to direct link it from photobucket :/
added a picture from how the box looked at first lol.
Built my own little exhaust to stop light from filtering out front. (put it over the speaker hole)
Added a

Grow week 1:
(germinated 9 out of 11 seeds :)) gave two away, growing 2 more outside :p
just attaching images until i figure out how to direct link it from photobucket :/

C0ol man, we grow with what we have. That being said, I think you will need a lot more light. I have never used cfls (just went straight to hid) but more light is always better. There are people on here who do micro grows in small little cabinets & some of it has been very impressive. I would search those out & read how they did it. Good luck.

T5 HO (high output) fluorescent lighting for small spaces and maximum light.

Believe me, it' worth the upfront cost for good gear. Skimping may cause endless headaches. Good light is just as important as food, water, and fresh air.

Looks like you got a triploid. That sprout with 3 leaves is a mutant!!!!! Keep a good eye on her. Maybe its some cool deformity that will change the world of cannabis as we know it. And I agree try to scrape up enough cash to get a t5 set up. Maybe a 4 tube but an 8tube would be ideal.

I currently have the 2 20Watt 1250Lm 5000K lights going?

I saw at a lcoal hardware store these lights ( i can't seem to find the right name or actually find them online)
was like $5 for a 40watt tube like CFl. around 4000 lm i think. it has a remote ballast, and it makes like a U type of form? EDIT: found it, Butterfly CFl's

You can use many different lights with varying results. T5 HO for best fluorescent results. VHO is even better but pricey and hotter.

Post a pic?

Two days before end of Week Two:

replanted one from the big black 'pot' to a cut sports bottle.
Keeping Lights as is, maybe adding another 20w 2500K Cfl when entering flowering. ( I'm keeping this a low budget test grow, as i have some Northern Lights ready if this succeeds :p)

They may do ok for early veg with that bulb, but flowering will require more light for decent flowers... looking good so far!

UPDATE:
Week 4 / 1st week into flowering:

I started nutrients this week, as well as adding a 18W warm White CFL to the box, a Timer, and a Carbon Filter That i built myself :P
also the yellowing seem to have gone away.
I know only have 2 plants left, the others i gave away, the one seem to have gone through a hell a lot of stress. and the other is going great.

I made the mistake of topping both plants (i didn't know it was a big no-no in the flowering stage, but at least its just in the first week)

Hey Guys, I'm back from vacation, i was away from home for 10 days, and my one girl that was left did fine! :p built an auto feeder for it, was completely alone for 10 days.

Also had a seedling start outside while I''m gone, planted a northern Light and Budha Cheese seed directly in soil and when i came back only the cheese had come up. so will be running her along side my first girl :)

I had 2 going, but one turn't out to be male a day just before I left.

After vacation ( Week 7, 4th week of flowering, think the flower stretch finished.)

Sorry for the long time guys.

Update :D

seems this plant is a very pure sativa as its taking one hell of a time to bud. :/
Strain is called Swazi, local strain here. Its still strectching a bit, have to do so much LST to keep it in its 25 cm shape, its hard to show you guys how much i had to bend the stems to get it like this, i'll try my best :P

10th week; 7th Week of Flowering:
