I don’t think you’ll be far off peak flower on the 26th
I think you’re right! She just woke up and omg the calyx’s on the bottom buds are so swollen it looks like there’s a seed in it but there isn’t lol! I really thought she was going to be a longer flower period but I think it’s right on the 8 week mark.

Took a look and seeing a few more amber trichomes.

I’ve been out of the game for awhile and it was always flush flush flush the last week minimum. Now that I’m back, I’m seeing debates on the necessity of flushing.

I think I’m going to stick to my old ways and water with only RO for the remainder of the time.

Getting to the finish line!! Mostly milky cloudy trichomes on the top buds, hopefully a good head high on this one!

Clone has bounced back and I’m going to let it start growing vertically from here for a couple of weeks before doing one more tie down. Once it recovers from that, in to flower she goes!

Wellllll…..transformer blew in the neighborhood and will be out of power for minimum 3 days and rain is in the forecast for the next 5 days so I am going to harvest tonight.

Neighbors coming by with a generator so I can at least run the dehumidifier and I am going to cut her down tonight and harvest. Sucks but I think I’ll still be good with everything.

Well ladies and gentlemen, she’s chopped down and hung up to dry!!! Now the patient waiting game of the drying process!! Catch up later this week with an update!

It’s been a fun journal and looking forward to the next one! I’ll update you all with a smoke report

Whew, power has restored and I’m back home. THANKFULLY, dehumidifier and fans had no issues and there is no hay smell, only sweet smelling bud and omg does it smell AMAZING!!

Still on a slow dry with whole plant hanging and only removed most of the large fan leaves but still left some on.

I have higher temps than I would like, that is why I am whole plant hanging this to ensure a nice slow dry even with higher temps. RH is between 50-59%

Huge earthquake 270km away from me, shook here pretty bad with minimal damage.

I worry for the people in Michoacán and the damage this 8.1+ magnitude earthquake has caused.

Good things are coming!! Next big purchase after this is an AC unit and then I’m pretty much set besides some small things here and there.

Plant is still slowly drying and the fan leaves are now dry to the touch. Stems still bending so I still have a few more days.

Got a small piece to try and sadly, very minimal effect. Definitely hurt the yield and potency having to chop early.

Huge bummer…but it is what is is. Going to the post office to pick up my new seeds today.

Time to suck it up and move on and next grows are going to be much better looking forward!

Dry is complete and now on to the curing phase for 2 jars. Smell is amazing, high is cerebral and energetic but very creeper. Smoke is very smooth with a late expansion and taste is very earthy with a slight sweet taste which will improve as the cure completes.

Total weight: 68 grams

Yield could’ve been much better but I’ll take what I can get.

Thanks bro and you’re absolutely right, 68 grams is better than nothing! It was awesome getting back into it after a decade. I hated so much having to chop early but with extended power outage plus with extended days with 0 sun and 100% humidity I was forced. I’ll be so happy when my tent and lights show up so I can move 100% indoors! I now have a backup generator too hahah

Well the light and exhaust were damaged during shipping. I’ve re-ordered the exhaust but I cancelled the light.

I am going to get the spider farmer SE3000 for the 3x3 instead of the AC infinity. I think I’ll have better success with this bar light vs quantum board design.

I do have these cheaper LED lights that are using the Samsung 301H diodes that I will use in the meantime for the veg cycle until it arrives.

The tent arrived today so I can get everything setup for that and just install the exhaust when it arrives.

I’ll upload pictures later of the clone. I think this will be the last run with this one since I have much better genetics to run in the future. Be sure to be place your vote on what you want me to grow next!

Go for the zittles pal

Buds are still in the cure process and have gotten to get to 63% humidity but striving for 59%. I took a nice piece out and wow what a sweet taste! The dry hit on the J is 100% mango! Glad I took a clone of this one to keep it going in the future! Attached is an updated picture of the clone!

I also have started the second journal for the next run, but I will most likely keep the mango clone outdoor in the greenhouse and continue to long veg it and take clones when the indoor runs and flower the clones outdoors.

Tie downs have been removed and shaping from LST has been completed. I’m a couple weeks away from it being ready to take its first clone clippings. I will take 6 clones and once they’re rooted, they will go outside immediately for flowering with no veg time.

I will be putting this one into flower today. I’ll be moving her back outside where it’s 12/12. Since I only have 6 hours of direct sunlight, I will put her under 160w worth of LED for the other 6. We shall we what we get!

Nice! Looks good. Are you going to be bringing them in and out of your indoor space? If yes, what are you using for pests? Ive never had it happen,( knock loudly on wood!) but seems like thats where a lot of peoples problems pest problems come from. And thats only one rookies opinion.

Thanks man, I will leave this one completely outside. It will stay inside the greenhouse at night to avoid any light leaks from the neighbors around me. The humidity will be high at nights, and it won’t be the best environment but we shall see what we get.

As far as pests, I only use diatomaceous earth in the soil and on the leaves. I will give it another sprinkle before putting her outside later this morning :)
