My first seed sprouted and this is how it looks

Description
First grow ever in life began 4 days ago. I’m using a 3 gallon fabric pot under a jumpstart grow light in coco and perlite just to get the veg process started. I have Been giving it water and clone x water is distilled and ph is set at 5.8. As you guys can see in my pic she doesn’t seem to be doing so well. Can someone please give me an educated guess of what might be wrong.

How often are you watering? And 5.8 seems too acidic for a non hydroponic system.

Was watering once a day in the morning until today because the soil seemed to dry up pretty quick. The guy at my local garden store told me to use water between 5.5 and 6.0. Do you think I should try different water?

Too much water and the pH should be about 6.3
Give it water then put a clear solo cup over it for 3-5 days.
You have to leave them alone. LOL We like messing with them trying to get them to harvest as son as pssible.

Thanks I’ll give this a try. How much do you recommend I water after the the 5 days?

When seeds come out of the ground it's a good idea to make sure the seed pod halves come off as soon as they can.

It will not need much at all the first week or two. When the clear cup stops sweating, water it.

When she came out of the ground on the first day the seed pod wasn’t coming off so I gently pulled it off on the third day . Do you think this could have hurt the plant?

Yeah. If i don't get those off early enough they wreck the leaf. If the pod stays on too long the whole thing goes gimpy. But it's fine. As long as it keeps growing.

When you germinate a plant, there are lots of ways to do it. One thing you don't want to do is make it too easy for too long or the plant will get lazy and not produce.
Watering is a perfect example. when the seed germinates, the root goes out looking for water. It absorbs some nutes from the soil, but until it gets water, it's hunting for it by growing lots of roots. This is why we let the soil get almost dry before watering. (Organics are always damp anyway, not wet) The roots will grow faster looking for water. If you give them lots of water, they don't have to grow. The plant needs a great root structure to really make the most of the food and water. Let it get a bit hungry to encourage good root growth. Keeping it a bit dryer also helps get rid of fungus gnats.
